Well it’s Thursday and I’m salivating already in anticipation of what Smoke & Fire BBQ will feature this weekend. I had the African Prawn Taco with ribs and they were outstanding. The prawn was ‘meaty’ as a lobster tail and prepped to perfection. What can I say about their succulent, sweet, spicy and smoked meat falling-of-the-bone ribs. I was in heaven. I sampled their Smoked Salmon Dip with crackers that was off the hook. Their Sides like potato salad and collard greens pair perfectly with their mains, like the brisket. It literally melts in your mouth. So whether you’re looking for brisket, ribs, chicken, pulled pork or their “specials”, prepare yourself for prolific BBQ experience. The Staff are knowledgeable, friendly and will guide you through their plentiful menu and featured items. Don’t delay because they sellout quickly and have limited hours on the weekends. Smoke & Fire BBQ…you have stolen my heart!! See you again this weekend!

Melt in your your mouth brisket, Perfectly seasoned fall apart ribs, so much flavor with the pulled pork, and smokey deliciousness tender half chicken! Sides are great too. I lived in KC for years, so I could say I’ve eaten some of the best. I would definitely put this place as one of my top places. It’s a must try and one of my new favorites. Wow! If I could give six stars I would. This place is incredible! I had a wicked craving for bbq and saw this place near the park we were taking our daughter to. Their brisket was literally the best I’ve ever had, cooked to perfection! One of the cooks and workers talked us into their special of pork tacos, so glad we did they were delicious, it was like a work of art in my mouth! The collard greens were so flavorful and comforting, exactly how we like them cooked! We honestly almost tried everything they had here and were extremely impressed, our bellies were full and happy! All of the workers were so friendly and helpful. It’s so hard to come by a good bbq joint like this, so we are glad we have a new place to satisfy our bbq craving! Thank you Smoke & Fire for a stellar experience!

I don’t review often but this place warrants a good review. My husband found this place on route because he works at UPS and delivers to them sometimes. The owners and workers have always given top notch service. They are all super nice and kind. They always make a point to ask everyone how things are. I LOVE brisket but I cannot stand a fatty cut of brisket, and this is some of my favorite brisket. The way it falls apart is top notch. The sauces are great, but the meat is so good you honestly don’t even need anything. I love the cabin style building. But seriously I cannot stress enough that the customer service and attitude of the owner/staff is absolutely top notch! Keep it up!

Friday night specials range from Venison to beef cheeks to smoked curry braised lamb shanks all worth a long trip.
The Friday night specials do not replace brisket on the Friday night menu, they are their own entity along with the staples.
The brisket which is to die for quite simply is just not ready until Saturday each week and that stays through Sunday. Amazing place, even better food.

This was the backup for Sunday lunch. Let me tell ya, no one was talking during lunch and this photo is all I have left to describe it. Should speak for itself. For those of you that don’t get it…. Amazing! We had the Brisket, chicken, pulled pork sandwich, Mac and cheese, beans, collards, and corn bread. It was all wonderful. The atmosphere and the staff were great as well. Would definitely recommend.

Because five stars is for mediocre life choices and these burnt ends deserved a standing ovation, a fan club, and maybe a short documentary.
First off, the burnt ends were so tender I’m convinced they were raised on emotional support and daily affirmations. Smoky, juicy, fall apart bites that had me blacking out for a second like “wait… is this love?” I started planning a future with them.
Now the ribeye sandwich? That thing had me looking at the bread like, “move, I need access to my man.” The steak was flavorful, juicy and melted in my mouth.
The mac & cheese was so amazing I almost filed a missing person’s report for my self control. Whatever cheese magic they’re using? Keep doing that.
And the coleslaw? Listen, I usually side eye coleslaw like it owes me money. But this one? Crunchy, tangy, fresh… like it showed up knowing it belonged on the plate.
If you’re not eating here, what are you doing with your life?
10/10. Six stars. Would risk my credit score for another plate.

Food was delicious, I had high expectations and it was even better!! We got a 3 meet platter( ribs, brisket and chicken) to share with my husband, portions are big and tasty. The service was excellent and prices are really fair. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We even got a free dessert… highly recommend!!
