My wife and I just happened to be out in this area and this was a nice roadside surprise. They have ample outdoor seating and they do phone in, take out orders. They have a nice menu selection, but my wife and I both had the baked haddock and lobster special. Nice chunks of lobster meat under the tender haddock with a nice crumble on top. The rice was good, but a little bland and the coleslaw was tasty but a bit soggy for my liking. The prices are fair and reasonable, considering it’s a seafood restaurant miles from the shore. The staff was very friendly and courteous and the restroom was open for patrons, just remember too bring and wear your mask. It was well worth the stop and we just maybe back sooner than later Overall it was an enjoyable experience and we actually would give it 4.5 stars if that was possible; oh wait, I just did

Our first visit on a very busy Friday night. Very impressed. Great service with good food. Lots of locals eat here, which is an indication of good food. Very bright, clean look with lots of pine. Will visit again very soon.

My husband and I finally got around to going here, we were NOT disappointed! Wish we’d gone sooner. The food was clearly fresh. His burger was large, juicy, and cooked perfectly. My fish was flaky, yet silky, cooked perfect too. The batter was light and crunchy, not oily, soggy or falling off, as so many others places we’ve eaten at. The staff was just as delightful as our meal. The prices were spot on as well. We chose to return for our 28th anniversary dinner tomorrow night, special place for our special night!

Out in the boonies, far from the coast, we stumbled across some of the freshest seafood we’ve had in a long time. I had whole belly fried clams and my sister had fried oysters, both cooked to perfection. The staff was super friendly and attentive and the chef even came out of the kitchen and asked if everything was okay. If you are ever in the Barre area, I highly recommend stopping in to High Tide. You won’t be disappointed.

My husband and I stopped here for dinner because it was highly recommended by a friend. The food was good, the scallops that I got were delicious. I also ordered a baked potato with my dinner. My dinner was brought out by somebody else besides my waitress. There was no butter for the baked potato and just a little scoop of sour cream and when I say little I mean minute. So then I asked for some butter but by the time I got it and I put it on the potato it didn’t even melt because it was cold. The waitress that originally took our order never came back once to check on us. The food was good here but the service sucked. They did give us 15% off our bill because of what happened but dinner was over and it was ruined. Not worth the time or drive.

Found this place by chance. No complaints at all on clam strips and onion rings. Just as good reheated the next day. Even delivered to our car. Such great service. Nice that they go above and beyond.

As a foodie I’m not generally eating out a lot in central Massachusetts. So boy was I happy to find this little gem. Very nice staff and owners. Fish is delivered fresh every two days, the oil is 100% canola oil and it’s changed everyday. My fish sandwich was one of the best I’ve had. Light flaky fish, non greasy, and a perfectly grilled bun with crisp lettuce and a slice of tomato.

was brought here by some friends for my birthday Loved the aviance of the restaurant, the people were very friendly and down-to-earth and the food was out-of-this-world. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. The serving size was excellent and the food was excellent definitely worth five stars in my book and will be returning.
