I was on a business trip and found this restaurant for dinner. I was greeted quite warmly by the hostess and went to the bar. I found the atmosphere pleasant. The taco salad was delicious, and the margarita just as good. I had an absolutely outstanding experience at the bar, thanks to Cassandra. She went far above and beyond what anyone would normally expect from a bartender or staff member.
From the moment I sat down, Cassandra made me feel genuinely welcome. She wasn’t just taking orders — she was anticipating needs before I even had to ask. Drinks were perfectly made, served promptly, and she took the time to explain options and offer thoughtful recommendations based on what I liked. Her knowledge and confidence were impressive.
What truly stood out was her attention to detail and sincere care. She made sure everything was handled smoothly. She checked in at just the right times — attentive without ever being intrusive.
Beyond the technical side of great service, Cassandra’s attitude made the night special. She was warm, upbeat, and professional the entire time, even while clearly managing a busy bar. You could tell she takes pride in her work and genuinely wants customers to have a great experience.
When I left, I was sitting in my truck getting ready to leave, and she ran out to bring me my tablet, which I’d left at the bar. This exceeds any expectations of customer service.
It’s rare to see someone consistently exceed expectations the way Cassandra does. She represents exactly what excellent customer service should look like. I will absolutely be back — and we hope she’s working when I do.

We walked in with 14 people! The wait staff quickly made our table ready. Daisy did an extraordinary job of waiting on us(many with separate tickets)
They have a great variety of mexican dishes! I didn’t try any mixed drinks- but full bar is available.

I travel for work pretty often and I am consistently in Denton and Corinth, Texas. I ran across this location while visiting the area and have absolutely fallen in love. I’ve yet to have something here that I’ve not liked, and I’ve brought co-workers out for lunch a few times and we all agree, this is one of the best Mexican restaurants we’ve been to in a minute!
I highly recommend the elote, avocado fries, their queso, cheese, enchiladas, the nachos, and pretty much anything here!

I had a really good experience having dinner at the bar. Both bartenders were friendly and attentive. I had a delicious cucumber jalapeno margarita – very refreshing! The Traveler’s enchiladas were very good with a queso mixed with verde salsa sauce. Refried beans and rice were excellent. The only thing I would change is having house-made chips and a chucky salsa instead of smooth. I will return!

Great staff, great mango margarita, great avocado enchiladas. Both black and charro beans were good. Average tacos. Rice was a little dry. Chips and Salsa is $3.95 in case you are expecting chips and salsa to be on the table. Concept/Decor is a little confusing.

This is a hidden gem with a cozy patio out front. Fun restaurant with a chill vibe. Right across the street from NCTC. We had the enchiladas and Spanish rice with free chips and salsa. Food was good and our waitress was great! Looking forward to going back.

The name is a little confusing… license plates and roadside diner theme, but most, if not all of the cuisine was Mexican.
The sampler platter offered a good amount of food with several of the restaurant’s featured items, all served on a metal tray.
The tacos were large and loaded with tomatoes and cheese. The meat could have been seasoned a little more and all items could stand a bit more spice.
But I love to support owners who have the courage to step out on their own.
Certainly worth trying… I will continue to watch and hope they refine their concept and menu.
