Finally found a good spot for crab noodle soup (bún riêu), broken rice with grilled pork (cơm tấm), rice noodle soup (hủ tiếu), and fried chicken wings with fish sauce (cánh gà chiên nước mắm)! The food came out fast and everything tasted great — we all loved it. The coffee has a bit of salt in it, so the flavor’s a little different but still okay. It wasn’t crowded around 5–6 PM, which was nice for a relaxed dinner. Definitely a good place for Vietnamese food — we’ll be back for sure!

Food is very good, my first time here and I’ll be coming back for more. Highly recommend it if your craving broken rice dishes. They also have sour catfish soup as well. They also got crab noodle soup too

I LOVE!! First bite of the bun thit noung was heaven. The meat itself is the tastiest I’ve had, and everything was so satisfying. I HIGHLY recommend it. I’ve been to many Vietnamese restaurants and by far this one tops. I also recommend to order the com tam. The small plate is plenty enough and is cheaper; I’d lean more towards that option than the full plate. You can add on additional items like egg, and it still completes it since veggies are included! It’s also served with a simple soup! But, I went a second time and I think the bun thit noung is better than the com tam!

The best Cơm Tấm in Bellaire, period. I’m a regular here for a reason. If you want that true Saigon taste, you’ll find it right here at Huong Viet.

only 1 type of dish you need with different variations but they master the craft. the nuoc mam is very good, the meat is tasty. all the elements in the com tam are there. Vietnamese people say it’s just like back home which tells you it’s really authentic

Hidden Gem., great place for some Vietnamese grill pork’s. Favor is just like Saigon ., if y’all know. You will know.
Don’t need the big combo plate. The simple plate and add fried egg is just enough.
The wait is a bit longer ., it’s because they grill the meat right in the spot. Very taste compare to any other local around.
Pork chop you get two and if meat , you get a lot.

Came to try com tam. They seemed to have good reviews. Tried the special ones with beef and pork. The lady was very nice and the food is excellent same level as vietnam

Easily one of the best Com Tam restaurants in the Greater Houston area, mainly thanks to the outstanding grilled pork chop. Well-marinated, packed with tons of flavors, and just so tender. Definitely the biggest highlight of the whole dish. The sausage is pretty tasty too. The other elements are okay. The egg meatloaf is a bit bland, but overall a satisfying experience.
Service is okay. Cozy vibes. Family-friendly. Menu is pretty diverse with lots of traditional Vietnamese dishes and snacks to explore. Highly recommended and definitely coming back just for the Com Tam!

I was craving viet food and ordered take out. Price must have been raised since it was on the app. It was pretty high.
Mi Xao Bo stir fry beef noodles4/5
Flavorful. Noodles were drench in the sauce. On the sweeter side.
Com suong Bo Beef short ribs and broken rice 4/5
Meet was tender. Sauce was sweet and marinated well. Looked like a lot of meat but there was much more rice than meat. Could use a bit more ribs.
Ca Kho To Carmelized Catfish 4/5
Cooked very well. Fish was very tender and fatty. Sauce was super sweet, which most places make it so.

I order Com Tam from Huong Viet and the food was well deserved 5-star rating. The portion was huge and the meat was delicious, tender and juicy. Definitely will order again.
