Best Chinese in town! I ordered online & tried the Shrimp with broccoli and fried rice. It’s delicious & hot when I got there to pick it up. I’ve also had the fried chicken wings before & those were amazing too! The only thing I will say is that the crab Rangoons are okay, they are tiny. Still giving them 9/10, thank you!

Really good! I ordered from here when the usual place I order from was closed and New China was a great pick. Lots to pick from and good sized portions. The barbecue ribs were delicious tender and had a nice smoky flavor. Crab Rangoons were crispy and had plenty of sweet and sour sauce. Bourbon chicken is tasty and the Beef with mushrooms was great with a nice selection of vegetables. I got delivery and it was quick and came packaged nice with plenty of sauces and fortune cookies!

We ordered take out at 6:50 for pick up at 7:16. We arrived at 7:05 and food was ready and bagged. The food was cold and awful. The food seemed as if it had been sitting out for 2 days. Horrible! Will never go back!

A family of 3 going to this restaurant based on the good reviews was a mistake. 3 stars were given for the service as it was acceptable. However 1 star each for atmosphere and food. Ordered 2 dinner combinations, side wontons. Wontons and egg rolls were very greasy. Dinner combinations unfortunately everything tasted like burnt oil and we didn’t finish our meals as our stomachs started to feel upset. The atmosphere in the restaurant was extremely disappointing due to poor cleanliness. The table linens were visibly dirty, mold was present in the air vents, and the floors looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time. Based on what we saw, we didn’t even feel comfortable checking out the bathroom. Cleanliness is a basic expectation, and unfortunately, this location did not meet it. We tried it, and will never return. We love supporting many, and I’ve never posted anything negative till now but honestly the owners need to truly do better for health reasons.

New China Restaurant is the best Chinese food in all of the Venice/Nokomis area. Their fried rice is the best by far and is authentic, not that yellow rice you get at every other New York style place in the area. Every dish I’ve had has been absolutely delicious. I recommend the Mongolian Beef and the House Special Fried Rice. The owners are always friendly and fast. You often see their children in the restaurant working on homework or pitching in to help out with orders. It’s great.

I’m from California and I have my favorite places to eat out there but if I’m being completely honest the food at New China tastes so good to me that I sometimes forget I’m in Florida at a different restaurant than the ones back home. The prices are reasonable my go to plate is Mongolian beef extra extra spicy no veggies on pork fries rice them egg rolls go crazy it’s like the fourth of when you bite into one just exploding with flavor but when I’m in the mood for pork all I do is switch over to Mongolian fried pork on pork fries rice and 1 or 2 packets of duck sauce and I’m 1 happy camper. I eat here 2-3x’s a week it’s that good. Lots of people order the fried chicken it looks delicious and smells amazing I’m sure when I’m craving chicken I’ll give it a try I’m just trying to figure out how I’m going to use my chopsticks to hold the legs and thighs .

Best in the area, no doubt. Fresh, quality ingredients with large portions. Delivery for the second time. Food arrived hot & quickly. Chicken (large pieces, not overcooked) and Broccoli & Shrimp and Lobster sauce are 2 favorites. Egg rolls are not greasy & the wonton soup is the best I’ve had! I’ll be back!

The food/delivery was good…. I got general tso (perfect heat) , pork lo main, egg rolls and crab Rangoon. I do not recommend the crab Rangoon (waste of money) . I have NEVER seen such little itty bitty crab Rangoon in all my life. They were literally the size of a quarter and flavorless on top of it!
