Kiyo Japanese Cuisine is perfect for team dinners, date nights, you can order with confidence and nothing misses. The space is elegant and comfortable with spacious seating, easy parking, and no long waits, which makes the whole experience stress-free. We ordered a full spread of sashimi, sushi, grilled items, and seafood, and every dish delivered both visually and in flavor. From the live Pacific lobster and Kumamoto oysters with uni and ikura, to the whole aji sashimi, sautéed Kobe beef, premium sushi set, Santa Barbara uni don, and miso Chilean seabass — everything was incredibly fresh, well-executed, and clearly made with care. Quality, consistency, and value are all on point. Truly a hidden gem in Arcadia and now a go-to spot for me. Highly recommended.

Great Japanese spot! We shared the wagyu shabu shabu and loved how soft the beef was. The veggie plate and broth matched perfectly. Also tried the uni and fried smelt — both really good. Staff checked on us often and explained things clearly. A nice place for a casual but quality dinner. Would return for the shabu alone.

Tried Kiyo in Arcadia and absolutely loved their winter special A5 Wagyu Shabu Shabu! The wagyu slices were super tender, rich, and buttery, melting in my mouth with every bite. The hot pot came with tofu, napa cabbage, enoki mushrooms, and naruto, and the broth had a light yet deep flavor that really brought everything together.
It’s such a cozy and satisfying meal for the cooler weather. The portion was generous and everything tasted super fresh. I also loved how friendly and attentive the staff were, making the whole experience even better. Definitely one of my new favorite Japanese spots in Arcadia!

This time when i come here, they just released the shabu shabu menu and it never disappoints. The broth is clean and flavorful, and the meat and veggies are always fresh. Their uni is surprisingly good. It is super fresh, rich, and the pieces are big instead of tiny portions you get at some other spots. Their osyters are fresh as well. I also tried the lobster this time, and it was sweet, tender and tasted like it was caught the same day.
The tempura is light, crisp, and not greasy at all. Everything came out hot and well-seasoned.
Overall, KIYO has become one of my go-to places when I’m craving Japanese comfort food. Consistently fresh ingredients and friendly service make it an easy spot to return to.
