I understand that fast food is not meant to be exceptional; however, when a customer pays for a prepared meal, it should offer either convenience or a level of execution that justifies choosing it over cooking at home. This pizza was disappointing from the moment it was opened. The presentation was laughable at best, with the entire pizza smushed to one side of the box.
The pizza itself tasted meh. The crust lacked structure, the toppings were bland and, and the overall flavor profile was flat and sad. This was not a case of unrealistic expectations; the product simply failed to meet even the baseline standard of a paid, prepared meal. It offered no advantage over a basic homemade pizza.
This was careless execution paired with subpar quality, resulting in an experience that felt rushed rather than intentional. It was not worth the money and did not meet the standards one would reasonably expect from a professional pizza operation. I will not be returning.

Wanted to try their new pan pizza. Crust on edges, good. Crust on bottom? Non-existent. Literally consistency of a wet/oily soft sponge; softer than a Tostino’s out the microwave!

Only good thing about this order was delivery. Driver was polite and on time. Now the food. Order a stuffed crust pizza and jalapeño papa bites. Pizza was warm but the cheese inside the crust was cold and lacking. The papa bites were like someone just Took a handful of jalapeños and wrapped them in a biscuit. Most of the time I’ll give places a second shot but, this place has To be the worst, Papa John’s there is.

We had an order delivered yesterday and it included brownies. When they arrived, they were raw except around the edges. When I called to complain, I was basically accused of lying because apparently they receive the brownies fully baked from the distributor and all Papa Johns does is warm them up and then sell them. It was infuriating. They were nearly liquid in the middle and everyone in my home saw and can attest to it. Also, as a side note, I always ask for light cheese on my pizza and I bet they’ve gotten that right maybe 10% of the time at most. It seems like no one there is reading any special instructions. I’m done with Knightdale’s Papa Johns. They aren’t checking the quality of what they deliver before it leaves the store and they’re not concerned with special requests, even though light cheese is an available option just like extra cheese is. The accusation of lying was the last straw. Obviously not a soul there is checking quality before food leaves the shop, and they couldn’t care less about customer satisfaction or loyalty.

Burned my pizza and the district manager made the chessticks pictured below, only 9, not 10 and two were a third of the the size and these were made by the district manager, wow. The sauce tastes lemony like something was sour. Manager of the store said, “they’re breadsticks, what do you want and there’s ten.” I replied please count again, there’s only 9 and they were burned and tasted like tough steak. Put these pics online and see if anyone buys any. Remember district manager made these thought they were good and the manager dismissed my concerns…franchisee what are your thoughts, please conctact me???

Got a delivery order today delivery guy banged on my door like the cops laid my pizza on the porch immediately and walked away. 1. I have a freaking door bell 2. Isn’t it appropriate to hand off someone’s order? On top of that just called the store and the manager said he would talk to him. No apologies or trying to rectify horrible service just that. Definitely wouldn’t ever do business with them again!

I ordered delivery through the Papa John’s app. The driver delivered my pizza to the wrong house first, I saw because I was outside doing yard work. When they handed the pizza back, he then pulled into my driveway. When we got the pizza, the quality seal was missing. The pizza was severely underbaked, the crust was still doughy and the pizza was not warm at all. We called the store to tell them what happened and were put on hold by three separate employees, when finally a very rude manager got on the phone and told us we would be refunded. We have yet to get a refund for our order and it’s been two weeks.

First papadias and probably my last. Crust was burnt and as you can see from the picture s, philly cheese had about a teaspoon of shredded something and the Italian had 3 slices of salami. False advertising I would say.
