The Dome and the venue itself are stunning. The staff handling the photography provided excellent service, they organized the queue well, took photos for us, and even helped with poses. They were lovely.

However, I really disliked some of the service staff (specifically those taking orders or serving drinks). They acted extremely arrogant and pretentious, behaving as if working here made them superior to everyone else.

Honestly, while many staff members had good manners, there were a few who acted high and mighty, perhaps it’s their first time working at a hotel of this level and it went to their heads. Let me tell you, I’ve been to other 5-star hotels that are far more expensive than this, and their staff have much better manners.

Just to clarify, I’m only referring to the staff at the Dome. As for staying at lebua, I stayed there a long time ago and found it very mediocre and forgettable. I’ve only returned to the Dome three times because my relatives from abroad wanted to experience the view and take photos. That’s the only reason.

We were very rushed into a separate bar just to order some drinks and they didn’t want to let us go somewhere else before ordering something. The whole bar/restaurant is very expensive and if you want to enjoy the views you can’t because there is constantly someone pushing you to order something. This whole place is very pushy and it loses its magic because of that. There are plenty of other skybars you can go to instead of this one, because this one is living only out of its fame from the movie.

The iconic location where the famous scene from The Hangover was filmed! We had some fun recreating the moment – even got help from a lovely waiter who guided us to the perfect photo spot. The food was a truly pricey exclusive culinary experience, paired with a breathtaking view. Impeccable service, live music, and a beautifully lit bar made the evening feel truly special.

Trapped. As soon as you get out of elevator they guide you straight to another bar. Don’t go there! Go on the back side. If they force you to drink no need, you are allowed to be there at NO COST, but they won’t tell you. If you drink: Overpriced for Bangkok, 2200 for a glass champagne. Singapore roof top is half price. Movie location that’s why. Otherwise great spot

I googled coolest Rooftop bat/restaurant and this was one of the options and I was not disappointed.

The service was 7 star level. They pull your seat up when you get up,l escort you to the bathroom wait for you and do the same back to your seat.

The decor was excellent and ambience especially at night was unbeatable.

We order the glass of champagne (way too much) and got the chef’s tasting menu. The food was well plated and very exquisite.

If you are looking for Instagram worthy places to go this is the place. They even have people walking around if you wan the them to use your phone/camera to take photos for you.

All this being said, nothing good comes at a low cost. The bill came out to about 21,000 Thai baht at the time about $600 usd for two people.

The high end for Thailand sure but in Miami(Where I live) something like this would be easily be doubled if not tripled.

The view from a absolutely beautiful, the service impecable. The prices ridiculously expensive. This is Thailand, not Paris. Drinks 40 €, fish €100
Wine STARTS at €200… the hotel is beautiful and the rooms are amazing.
It gets a bit tricky Friday and Saturday with the lifts to your rooms, due to a lot of out of hotel tourist ( they filmed the Hangover here)
Would I come back? Yes, but will never dine there again. Had better and less expensive dinners at Mandarin and Peninsula

It’s a unique place ( of course a bit overpriced due to history of the famous hangover movie , that took place here and < invented> the cocktail hangovertini), but worths the visit.

Overpriced as easy to imagine. But people come here to take pictures more than to eat or drink… Tailored service by professionals.
