If your in orange tx, DONT EAT HERE. The food is old tasting, chicken is dry and they continue to screw up the order. Go the extra mile for better BBQ. I bought 3 meals and it was horrible

I door dash and every single time I go here they haven’t even started the order yet. They always dont have ribs or brisket or something. And the people that make the food are the gas station attendants. They’re owners/attendants. They get in absolutely no rush and they care more about the gas station than the food. They’ll stop in the middle of making your order to go ring up a customer for gas. Just a complete lack of care whatsoever. I always feel bad for the people that order this food from this place. Gas station BBQ from two guys that don’t care about customer service or the quality of the food.

Worst bbq in Orange. For starters, I ordered the 2 meat plate containing brisket and turkey. Got 3 small slices of burnt and hard brisket along with one end piece of turkey. My parents both order the sliced beef brisket sandwich, the meat was also burnt and hard and cost $12.99ea. The entire experience was very disappointing. JB’s, The Hut and Fat Boys bbq is so much better.

I’ve been to other Dickey’s and always enjoy my experience, but this is the worst in the area.
There were only a couple of people ahead of us in line, but it took a while because there was only one person working. She alone would take the orders, ring it up, and prepare the food.
I took my son and was disappointed to find out that they don’t serve the chicken nuggets that he loves at this location. I went ahead and ordered a turkey plate and was told the turkey wasn’t ready. This was at 1:30 in the afternoon. I finally settled on chicken and when it arrived, it was a mistake. The slices were very thin and dry.
They also could not get my gift card to work. I called and verified the balance before arriving and after, but was still told that “sometimes their machine just doesn’t work” and that they couldn’t manually type the number in.
Overall I was extremely disappointed, I would not visit again.

I visited Dickeys today around 2:07PM, they had a lady working by the name of Hope & she made my experience by far the BEST. She was very friendly and had a great sense of humor. She made sure my order was fresh.You can tell that it’s new employee’s working there by the upgraded food quality and customer service… I ordered a 3meat plate-brisket, chicken breast & sausages, & a Sausage sandwich combo everything was seasoned and cooked great. I would highly recommend y’all to stop by & visit this location!

This is no longer a Dickeys. I went in there recently, and the guy running the gas station said that all they sell are breakfast sandwiches. I really think they ought to take the sign down and stop.misleading people. I drove a little out of way because Dickeys sounded good!

This was just supposed to be a pit stop while the rain and traffic died down, but it turned into a lunch spot. I wasn’t expecting much from this gas station, but everything from Dickey’s was on point. My 15-year-old doesn’t “do barbecue”, but after one taste of my pulled pork sandwich; he and his friend ordered two each! The buttered bun was toasted to perfection, and the barbecue was flavorful. The brisket, mac and cheese and potato salad/mashed potatoes with bacon were also delicious. Staff was friendly.

Went to the new location in vidor ordered the wings. Do not waste your money on these. They were small, dry, the sauce was flavorless like it was watered down (spicy bbq sauce) not sure about the other meats but this is a waste of food..

Not the best experience we’ve ever had but overall things were still pretty good. The highlight is usually the food but today it was the friendliness of the woman working. She was very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, almost all of the food we got seemed rather old. Almost none of it was fresh like it usually is. It’s a smaller location that may not go through product as quickly so it may have been sitting around for a while. Still solid but just not as good as we’re used to.

Made a delivery order.. 3 meat plate with pie, big cup drink.. they forgot the BBQ sauce… I mean how the heck do you forget to add BBQ sauce when you are selling BBQ?? ♂️also no pie??? I know, I ordered pie and paid for it… and a large cup of water????? I didn’t order water… re re’s…. Now they won’t answer the phone.. I guess you can’t complain if they don’t answer…
