This is the best Chinese food in Fort Myers. I have tried just about every Chinese Takeout place in Fort Myers and Cape Coral after moving here several years ago. I’m from NY where there is the most excellent Chinese food and I was starting to give up finding a place down here. China XPress is the most delicious Chinese food that is on the NY level.
My mouth starts watering the moment I pick up my food and when I have it delivered, it’s piping hot. Everything they cook is so fresh, all of their meats are properly marinated, their sauces are on point, and every dish is just amazing and consistent in taste.
My favorite things they make here are the Roast Pork Lo Mien, Bourbon Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Pork Fried Rice, Fried Wontons, and I adore their Wonton Soup.

I ordered a General Tso’s chicken which usually comes with broccoli. There was not a single piece of broccoli and when I called the place of business they continue to cuss me out and hang up on me. The worst customer service I’ve ever had in my own neighborhood.

Been eating here for a year now and always get the same thing shrimp fried rice with no peas or carrots add green onion two eggs and make it a little spicy. Two of those, some fried chicken and some eggrolls and its always perfect. Ive been cooking for 20 yrs and this place has that authentic taste that brings me back to my childhood. The owner really puts in work to make that restaurant run and i have seen her wipe a few sweats in front of me. She may be chinese but she is a shining example of what it means to be a hard working American. So proud to see her everytime i do with that beautiful smile of hers. My family is always grateful for her food. She has more than earned a tip from me every time i eat there. Check this place out if you love good food and really want to help a business that is so underrated. This lady needs her own buffet. Periodt.

Food is great, price is about the same as anywhere. The problem is they randomly close for periods of time. No note on door, just closed. Also the online ordering gets turned off frequently unless you’re paying extra by ordering through an app like ubereats. In the last year, its been “temporarily closed” about 3-4 times easy.

The restaurant smells absolutely foul. It smells like they have a septic line backed up, or mop the floors with dirty water. I saw in reviews from a year ago some customers mentioned the same. The tables were sticky and sign on table was stuck to the table with grease, and covered in dirty fingerprints and other splashed sauces. Food was OK, but after picking up from the store myself my appetite really dropped from the putrid smell.
Edited to reply to absolutely unprofessional reply to Owners: 100% your restaurant place smells horrid. I assure you. You are probably accustomed to it, and do not notice. But if you ask customers while there- I assure you they will agree. I Will never return to this establishment. Also the ripped couches in the restaurant covered up with couch covers really set it off.

I lived in New York my entire life and relocated to Fort Myers about 5 years ago. New York has the best Chinese food and I couldn’t find good Chinese Takeout until I came to China XPress!! Hands down the best Chinese food in Fort Myers!

I decided to give this place a try despite the horrible reviews kept seeing on here. Customer service was fine, I ordered though doordash and the food was ready earlier than estimated.
The store had a strange smell that I couldn’t quite place when walking in. Upon eating the egg roll that was included in my dinner combo, this piece of metal was inside and almost choked me to death.
Needless to say I won’t be returning

I’ve been getting my Chinese food from this mom and pop store for about 4 years now. They never disappoint! Thank you so much for all of your hard work and always being so kind. Oh and their daughter she’s super kind and helpful
