Service was Great 1st of all. The food was rather disappointing though. We got there about 8 ordered a Santa Claus-mopolitan and a Christmas mule. The drinks were decent. The atmosphere was quite cozy, warm, and inviting. We got the triple play appetizer with the wings sausage jalapenos and mozzarella sticks. I was disappointed in the size of the appetizer fairly small for the price. We also ordered a 4340 calzone to share. It came out with so much grease on the plate that we used to napkins to slop it all up. It was supposed to be filled with pepperoni sausage mushroom onion green pepper and black olives. Heavy on the cheese pepperoni and sausage but wear skimpy on the veggies. The marinara sauce was good though. Our bill came to $43 for two drinks and appetizer and a shared dinner which isn’t bad. What was not impressed with the Sysco food product calzone.

TLDR: Good pizza; friendly but slow service; lots of kids. The pizza is fine–disregard the snob reviews. The staff are extremely friendly, but likely to get caught up talking to regulars at other tables as a result. Don’t come here expecting fast, brusque service. It is also extremely kid-friendly, so if that’s not your thing, you might be annoyed by groups of unsupervised children running to and from the game room, bouncing balls in the dining area, etc. while their parents studiously ignore them from the bar. OTOH, if you’re tired of interacting with your undisciplined kids and just want a stiff drink, this seems to be the place for you.

I recently had lunch here on a Saturday and it was great. I dropped in for pizza by the slice (apparently, they offer specialty daily slices; see pic), but opted for a great meat/carnivore calzone. The calzone was a perfect amount of bread, cheese, and meats with marinara sauce on the side. The price didn’t break the bank, so it was perfectly priced. The location was easy to find and had a good amount of street parking. Check it out when you can. BK

We had their Greek Pizza. It tasted so good that it disappeared before we knew it.
The pub has a great open air sit down atmosphere too.
It’s fun place to sit and enjoy great pizza. Just add great friends and the whole experience is just about perfect.
My wife and I love this place!

Oh yeah, I’m glad my son chose this place. My son, wife and I wanted to try a new and different pizza place and we sure did. The atmosphere of this Italian restaurant is beautiful, quaint and spacious. And it’s the first time I have ever encountered a multidimensional restaurant. I would be just as happy to enjoy the wonderful Italian dishes offered as I would to sit and kick back with some friends for an evening at the bar that looks and feels like you’ve entered a completely different establishment. Truly impressive and an incredibly polite, accommodating, considerate and on-top-of-everything staff, make this a place you have to check out. Build your own slices with just about any topping one could want, various pasta and sandwich options and yes, the food itself was quite delicious. I highly, highly recommend The New York Pizza Pub for anyone and everyone for any occasion. About as friendly and good neighborhood type of joint as you can get. Feel the flavor!

Stopped in to see what was going on after seeing a happy hour sign out front and was not at all disappointed. The garlic knots and wings are pretty awesome, and we were given the best of service from our waiter, Brad. The happy hour drinks were a great deal as well, so this place will definitely be on the list of places to try for a return visit. I definitely recommend anyone in the area give it a try, as this place is a great find. They even play some Frank Sinatra to make you feel right at home in an NY style pizza pub!

Not Impressed. When I got there the place was completely empty at 6:30pm on a Sunday, which is never a good sign. The pizza was Luke warm which I thought was odd considering I had to wait there for 10 additional minutes after I arrived. Sauce tasted store bought and crust was spongy and flavorless…. Still on the hunt for my NY style pizza..
Two stars because the staff was friendly.

We always drive by this place and finally stopped. We are now mad at ourselves for not coming sooner. The jalapeño rockets were obviously hand made, and the pizza was the perfect amount of crispy and greasy. We will definitely be back. Feels like a nice family-owned place. Pretty quiet for a Saturday night, which is honestly kind of nice.

Went to trivia here often. Trivia was hosted by ‘This is a Clue’. Staff is wonderful, even when they get busy. My usual was a house salad and an order of their wings, house sauce, and ask for extra crispy on the wings. The pizza meets expectations, I just enjoyed their house sauce for the wings more!

The pizza came highly recommended. I thought it was good but didn’t deserve the raving review I got from my friend… I’ll never trust you again Nichole! In their defense we had takeout and my friend was at the bar and apparently drunk when she had it. The place also smells like they clean it with stale beer. Maybe some Pinesol next time guys.
