Our dinner at Big Family Brewing Company was a bit of a mixed bag so to speak. The covered patio is wonderful and features nice views on a good night and the service was adequate. The Sweet Nantucket was a great beer and the Korean BBQ Chicken Skewers tasted good. The portion sizes were a bit on the small side however, and the Pickerel was mushy rather than firm. The fish was also on the flavourless side. What was really surprising was how small the portion of fries with the Broasted Pickerel meal was though. We ordered a side of fries ($6) which we ended up sharing because that meals portion of fries was so small.
Overall the atmosphere was great, I just wish the food lived up to the atmosphere.

Had dinner with my family last night and it was fantastic. Tried the Beer flight, I must say their brews are fabulous. I loved the Vienna Sunrise. We just shared appetizers Spinach dip, Lamb skewers and Korean BBQ skewers and they were well presented and delicious. I would like to commend their idea is having the spinach dip crusted and deep fried, excellent idea and presentation. Cherry on the crème was the service by Ebinee, she was very kind enough to be at our table made us feel well served even though they were really busy with the Trivia night. She really deserved an appreciation for doing such a wonderful job, a great asset representing the restaurant

It like the food! Had a pizza with beer cheese which was completely new to me and full of flavors have to say! So 5 ✨ for that
Beers felt a bit soft and lacked a bit of flavor for my taste! Tried 8 of their options.
I like the vibes of the place, service was wonderful! Active and friendly ☺️

First time here. Love the vibe and views. Food was good, lots of delicious sounding options. Service was a tad slow (particularly to get the first beer) especially given how empty the restaurant was, but didn’t have a major impact on my experience. Beer was great, appreciated them all. I will definitely be returning for some excellent food and craft beer next time I’m in town.

First time at the Big Family. Large garage doors that open for a great view of the water. Craft beer to start. Started with the onion rings. Best onion rings ever. Light and not greasy. I had the pickerel dinner which was a large fillet, lightly coated. Not greasy at all as it was not deep fried. My husband had the beef brisket sandwich. Very tasty. Great fries came with both meals. Dessert were these hot mini donuts with 2 types of dipping sauces, caramel and chocolate. Make sure you leave room for these.

This place was nice and it was right by the marina/lake which made a winning combination.
The staff seemed pleasant although they seemed unsure of the offer of the day etc. There was a brewery on site that was pretty impressive but i didn’t see or hear of any patrons near us that ordered the “brewery specific beer” to peak my interest in trying it.
The food was pretty good and they allowed dogs in the outside picnic table area which was cool but became problematic when the dogs started growling and barking at each other. It was not the relaxing vibe I was looking for.
The pricing was pretty good and consistent with other restaurants in the area. The only downfall of this place was that you had to walk to the building to pay as they’re wifi or the signal for their debit machines wasn’t strong enough to accompany the likely potential 50 + potential patrons they were able to seat.
Not a bad stop if you are in the area though.

Beautiful presentation. Amazing fries. But that is it.
The brisket sandwich had no flavor. No salt, no pepper, and the mushrooms were somewhere else not here.
The Duck Ban almost did not had any meat on it. It was no extremely dry. I could only taste the cilantro on top, nothing else.
The Red Ale was okay. In my opinion has an alcoholic taste not tradition on this style.
The great customer service, and the view made it a 3 start instead of 2.

Perfect cold days with ramen on Fridays, thin crush hand stretched pizzas and flat bread are so great, I do love ( Korean flavoerd) spicy chicken sandwiches and Seoul steak skewers!
