Had a great experience. Delicious food. Our server Joshua was very kind, knowledgeable, and fun. Our favourite dish was the ricotta focaccia! However, the croutons on the ceaser salad were a show stopper. Spicy rigatoni is a classic. Much more quiet and easy-going atmosphere than Carbone.

I visited Vino for a quick dinner after a work event, and I must say the service was fantastic! I ordered the spicy rigatoni, and it was absolutely perfect—full of flavor and just the right amount of heat. However, the ribeye, which I ordered medium rare, was a bit tough, but not enough to ruin the meal. Overall, a great experience, and I would definitely recommend it for a casual night out!

This is consistently great dining experience at Vino. The breadth and depth of menu is quite vast and there is something for everyone. Even basic dishes like salad, broccolini taste fresh and flavorful. This is worth a visit every few months.

The pizza was not the Sicilian pictured from Google or Instagram. A round tavern style pizza was brought out. A server said it was changed three months ago? Would be nice if it was announced. Was a bummer. The chicken parm was a large portion, but was flattened/pounded so much that it was a hard chew. The vodka rigatoni was good. Our second server was friendly. Our other dishes had a faint old smell/taste. Not what we expected. Especially for these prices.

Vino was quite delightful compared to Carbone. Or perhaps, because I had been to Carbone, I knew what to expect more or less. I like to think the tab is paying for the experience, and that while the food isn’t other worldly, it is still good enough if you know what to order. Feel like a lot of the negative reviews on here really expected a whole circus for the tab.
The entire selection of food we ordered was quite good at Vino! Service was really good too. Our server informed us of how we would be served family style and gave us the run down of what to expect. We ordered the caesar salad (they don’t make it table side like Carbone, but still, very very good; honestly would go to Carbone/Vino just to eat their caesar salad), margherita pizza, garlic chicken, broccoli, coconut and strawberry gelato.
The pizza was okay, but I don’t favor pizza very much. My friend who loves pizza enjoyed it. Garlic chicken was very good. And I loved the garlic broccoli as well. The coconut gelato was creamier than the strawberry even though the coconut was supposed to be a sorbet! Good nonetheless.
Didn’t get a pasta because my experience at Carbone with the pasta was not good, which should not be the case. But now I am more optimistic to try the pasta again, but maybe at Vino. I also love how they serve the food in courses/family style. It’s a good business strategy for them to get customers to order more full courses as opposed to single entree dinners. But we also get to try more menu items, and it creates an elevated experience. 🙂
Atmosphere was good. I was a little disappointed they sat us in the front corner despite having reservations. I usually like to be seated in the middle of the restaurant, but it was still a very good experience.

Went here for my birthday and my waiter was super awesome. He was so nice. But the only reason I’m leaving this review is for anyone who is thinking about going to this restaurant as a special night just splurge when you normally don’t. The food is nowhere near worth it. We got multiple things off of each part of the menu, which is insane in itself. We had the crispy, rice balls, the sweet-and-sour meatballs, And calamari. They each tasted like you could get them at Chili’s…. Or you could buy them in the frozen food aisle and heat them up…. Nothing special about it…….the pasta was good but it’s literally just noodles and sauce that are mediocre and taste like every single other Italian food restaurant out there…. And then you get to the meets, which are also a joke. The chicken cacciatore Tasted like a Walmart, rotisserie chicken with barbecue sauce poured in it With one sun-dried tomato on the side, which is weird. And don’t even think about getting aside because you will be pissed paying that amount of money for something you could make with Rice-A-Roni. No offense to the staff because they were so nice and so sweet it just the food itself is nowhere near worth the money.

01.23.26 Server ROB clearly didn’t want to be there tonight—rude attitude, zero smiles, and awful service from start to finish. I’m not sure why he felt the need to act so arrogantly he couldn’t even do a decent job serving.
The food somehow matched the service: worse than before. Disappointing all around.
If you come here and get ROB as your server, ask to be moved. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

This place is horrible! I had a reservation, and so did another friend group. We wanted to at least be seated together or close (nearby). I received a consultation by leadership for almost 2k to pay after we both had reservations… let me help you readers out. STOP and save your MONEY. THIS PLACE WAS HELL FROM THE BEGINNING TO THE END WITH Customer Service to the FOOD. ENOUGH STATED! DONT GO! PLEASE don’t bring in a cake it’s $15.00 per slice. Food horrible, vibe uncomfortable, over priced for chopped less than crumb size bits of shrimp in pasta, burnt meatballs overcooked..they forgot to bring out my entree(Salmon) easy dish bought out 20 minutes before we checked out. It was gross… This is an honest review. STOP! READ NOT JUST MY REVIEW BUT CONTINUE READING THEM. I’VE WARNED YOU.

Carbone Vino clearly does not value the customer experience. The food quality felt like chain-restaurant level at best — nothing close to what the price point would lead you to expect. Service was inconsistent and disorganized, with dishes arriving at completely different times and some even coming out cold.
On top of that, they nickel-and-dime you for everything. They brought us water, and like most restaurants, they just keep refilling without telling you you’re later on paying $54… for water.
Want to bring a birthday cake? That’ll be $15 per person — seriously. They give the vibe that it’s your privilege to eat there, not theirs to have you as a guest and patron.
For the cost, there are far better restaurants in Dallas, on nearly every corner, that actually care about food quality, serving you as a valued customer, and treating guests with respect. Save yourself a regrettable experience and A LOT of money.

In town to see our son and his wife. One of their favorite places. Great service and amazing food. Italian, family style. Shareable. Nice portions. Wine list was 1” thick book.
