Absolutely loved this place. First time visiting. Highly recommend. Very healthy option. We had the Ahi salad and bowl. Nice recommended dressing for the salad- I got 2! Clean, quiet atmosphere. Staff was very helpful and kind. Highly recommend.

We’re so glad that we finally tried this place. I personally thought it was going to have that “healthy” taste, but I was wrong. I completely judged the book by its cover and I shouldn’t have. Coming from someone who is trying to eat healthier without feeling like I’ve “sacrificed flavor,” this place hits the spot! I ordered the salmon bowl and everything in the bowl was delicious! My friend ordered the Baja bowl and liked it also. I particularly liked the bread. It was soft and fresh.
The restaurant was very clean and the staff was friendly. We came during lunch time during the weekday and it was not busy at all.
The restaurant is in an outdoor plaza where Sprouts and Olive Garden are located. When you enter through the entrance from Newport Rd., it’s to the left of Olive Garden. There are lots of parking and the place is wheelchair friendly. There’s outdoor seating as well.
We’ll definitely be back.

Loved it! Had the turkey and brie sandwich. Tye Mediterranean bowl was really good. We split them and had left overs. I’ll be back to try other choices

Food: Pastrami Tri Tip Sandwich*, The Californian Sandwich, The Club Sandwich, and the Oatmeal Raisin cookie were all excellent.
*The Pastrami Tri Tip was the best Pastrami sandwich I’ve ever eaten! The mustard which came with it was incredible, too.
We’ll be back (via delivery).

First time trying Urbane Cafe, the food was ok. I ordered a salmon salad and after eating most of my salad bowl I find a bug on a piece of salad. I called the restaurant and spoke to manager and he was apologetic and told me I would receive a full refund. I have yet to receive a full refund and it’s been 2 weeks. I probably won’t be visiting this place again.

A brand new food place that just popped up on Newport. They have an array of sandwiches and salads, also a few bowls as well. Their selection is pretty good and we’ll rounded on proteins. We ended up getting a couple mixed salads and the dressings were quite good. The Japanese spicy aoli dressing really hit the spot on the ahi salad.
They were quite busy when we came in but they had plenty of help to speed up the process. The food wait was ridiculous quick, and most of the people around us kept talking about how great the food is. Well we most definitely agree the food is great!
They also throw in a piece of bread that they make, you can watch them make it in front of you at the register. It was very good and although unexpected really hit the spot!

Where’s the meat? Ordered the tri tip pastrami sandwich. What a Rip off. Almost $13 for nothing but a little dried out stale pastrami heaped with soggy cabbage and pickles. Tiny shredded pieces of extremely old, dried out meat was stacked in the center of the bread to make it look “big.” Nothing on the majority of the sandwich… nothing. Filled with gobs of cabbage and pickles to make it look big. Thin tiny slices of cheese too. Basically paying $13 for a cabbage and pickle sandwich ! Huge disappointment. I’ve ordered this sandwich before and it was great! This was gross.

This was my first experience at their establishment. I paid $4.00 more for gluten free bread that was burnt. I also asked for no cheese and their was mozzarella on it. For the $40.00 I spent on a sandwich, salad, and soup, I was disappointed.

I had such a great experience at Urbane Cafe thanks to Jade! She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. She checked in at just the right times, offered helpful menu suggestions, and genuinely seemed to care that we enjoyed our meal. Her positive energy really made the visit feel welcoming and enjoyable. Jade is a true example of excellent customer service. I’ll definitely be coming back because of her!
