If you’re in Niceville and actually care about what’s in your cup, you need to hit this spot. We’re visiting from Montana and honestly, we will be taking notes to our friends’ shop back home because this place is doing everything right.
It’s rare to find a craft coffee shop that feels this laid-back. Usually, “high-end” comes with a side of pretension, but the staff here are genuinely cool and the whole place has “stay a while” energy. No one is rushing you out the door, and the seating is actually comfortable.
The Drinks (The Art)
• The Espresso: They aren’t just pushing buttons here. The shots are pulled perfectly—smooth, balanced, and exactly what an espresso should be.
• The Old Fashioned: This was such a vibe. Between the orange peel and the cherry garnish, it felt like a legit cocktail experience but for coffee lovers.
• Toasted Marshmallow: Look at the char on that marshmallow! It’s not just for the photo op – it adds that perfect smoky sweetness.
• The Flight: If you’re indecisive like me, get the flight. It’s the best way to see the range of what these baristas can do.
Stoked to have found this spot and can’t wait to go back.

G’day Mate! Lol This is a cool coffee shop in the aptly named town of Niceville inspired by an Aussie concept where “coffee and hospitality come together in profound ways”! It “elevates this beverage from what is perceived as a mundane necessity into a mindful experience and pause in one’s day”. That’s some deep shit, but true! The presentation of the cool, unique, tasty beverages also appeal to the eye and ties into this “Wondah” concept. I’m gonna be even MORE mindful of coffee as it realates to transcending the mundane from now on as should you. It’s special. Friendly helpful baristas like Jonathan and co owner Parker make you feel right at home. Parker spent a few years in Australia, and combined Wondah concept with his late mom Wanda’s name. As a Wedding and Event DJ based in Miami and South Florida including the Florida Keys, I’m especially in tune with good vibes, music, and hospitality. They even have a vintage vinyl section with a selection of classic records for sale. Really enjoyed the ambient music. I’d maybe suggest a bit more decor on the walls. There’s a cool little side section separate from the main room, as well as an outside patio. This was an EXPERIENCE. You can even FEEL the love and attention to detail they put into their service as do I. Parker even invited me to spin a vinyl record! What?! Wow! Thank you! Highly recommend!

If there is any justice in the world of small businesses, WONDAH Coffee will not only thrive in Niceville but eventually bless Panama City, Florida with their presence. What they offer is not just coffee. It is an experience that shows what happens when people care about their craft and about the human beings they serve.
From the moment I stepped in, I was met with kindness that felt genuine rather than rehearsed. The service was fast, the staff was warm, and the atmosphere immediately disarmed every ounce of stress I carried in with me. Their outdoor seating feels like a peaceful hideaway where time slows down just long enough for you to breathe again.
I ordered the lavender latte first, then a cortado, and both were exceptional in a way that made it clear these baristas know exactly what they are doing. Each drink arrived on its own little wooden board with a small menu describing the coffee blend, a piece of chocolate, and even a glass of tonic water to cleanse the palate. That attention to detail, that intention behind every step, is something you rarely see anymore.
This is the kind of place that could easily flourish in Panama City, and I sincerely hope they expand. We need this level of care, this artistry, this environment that makes you feel like your presence matters. WONDAH Coffee is a gem, and I am grateful to have found it.
If you are anywhere near Niceville, do yourself a favor and stop by. You will leave feeling better than when you arrived.

The atmosphere of this place is so calming and the drinks were delicious! My husband enjoyed the Old Fashioned Latte with oatmilk and I had a hot Matcha latte. Guy working was really nice, treated us to a little dark chocolate with a candle and a first customer sticker. We will definitely stop by again while we are in town.

Wondah became my favorite coffee shop in the panhandle after my first visit. The coffee, its presentation, the company, the vibes, everything about this place draws you in and invites you to stay. The guys there are truly masters of their craft. They’re skilled, friendly, and they make a cup of coffee that’s so good, you’d be unlikely to ever forget it.

Super cute coffee shop with exquisite vibes. The service was also incredible. We were served with actual glassware and brought waters after we sat down. Also midway through our coffee, they brought a couple pieces of chocolate. Just great service and the coffee by itself was very balanced and smooth. The drip coffee was not bitter/burnt at all and the flavor was good enough to not need any cream/flavoring. Same went for the cortado.

Currently at the airport considering if I should turn around and come back so I can stay closer to Wondah. Niceville is seriously so lucky to have such a special spot. It has been an honor to watch this place grow into such a beautiful home for such a cool community. Everything is handcrafted with care (and I mean everything, I’m talkin’ down to the tables) and curated to perfection. With all the attention to detail that goes into every part of this shop, the coffee can’t help but be phenomenal. If you’re close enough to stop by 1) I’m jealous and 2) don’t miss out and treat yourself to the loveliest cup of coffee you will ever have.

We ate lunch at PB&J Bistro & Cafe across the street after our long drive from SC. While speaking with Jess, she told us about the other local businesses, Wondah being one of them. We decided to walk across the street and get a coffee after our meal. Wondah is a cute coffee shop; however, it is more than that, it has a vibe I can’t quite find the word for. The staff is friendly and passionate about what they do. The coffee is rich, yet smooth. We will definitely add this to our list of places to go each time we visit.

Wondah never misses. The coffee is always top-tier, the atmosphere is chill and welcoming, and the staff genuinely cares about what they’re making. You can tell they put effort into quality and consistency, not just rushing drinks out. It’s the kind of place you want to hang out, study, or just start your day right. Easily one of my go-to spots, and I highly recommend.
