It was a cute place! The food was pretty good but it’s definitely traditional. Our waitress was nice and the food came out at a good time. Wish the water wasn’t tap. I’ve had better fish n chips and I expected more carrots/peas in the shepherds pie. Overall a nice place.

Easy low key comfort food, easy spot to go sit and have a good time.

If you want to eat a Sunday roast, fish and chips or any viral British food. This is your spot.

We did thanksgiving there and even tho they had a set menu they also did a reduced regular menu.

Shepherded pie, fish and chips, and some drinks were fantastic.

Salads looked fresh and dessert smelled amazing.

If you are looking for a good down to earth pub this is place.

Ok, so I was a part of a meetup group and there was 20 of us that came in. We were able to get seats in the back patio and the servers were accommodating for us all wanting separate checks. That’s unbelievably nice of them.

I ordered the chips (fries) and it was decent. The popcorn cauliflower was also good. There aoli was soild. J also tried a bite of the sausage pie, which i didn’t get a pic of. It had a nice kick and flavor. I would absolutely get that next time.

The cookie martini was good! It was definitely a dessert cocktail with a kick. It was also served with a cute little cookie.

Food is delicious service was friendly but slow for there being nobody there. The jalapeño salad dressing was amazing. I got the steak and guniess pie, it was so good. I finished it off with a nice latte

Go-to in LA for a good comfy dinner. The fish and chips and chicken are spectacular and I can’t wait to try more.
Great atmosphere, friendly and prompt service, LA prices.

First time visiting, and I’ll definitely be back! Parking was a breeze, which was a great start. I tried the cider beer and lavender latte—both unique and delicious in their own way. The fish and chips were absolutely amazing—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The Impossible Shepherd’s Pie was a great plant-based option, hearty and satisfying. And the sticky toffee pudding? Loved every bite! Great experience overall.

We stopped by here before an event at Hollywood forever, on a Sunday afternoon.

Parking was okay. The back lot was full and easy to miss because it’s stashed in a really narrow alley. The street parking outside was also full but we parked a block down and it was fine. Free street parking which was unexpected but appreciated.

We had no reservation but were seated promptly on the patio. Despite the word “patio” it is enclosed on all sides with some kind of canopy roofing and heat lamps.

The food was fantastic, the service was prompt, and the prices were decently affordable. I would go here again.

The steak and Guinness pie and full English breakfast were excellent paired with a perfect pour of draft Guinness and mint iced tea! Great vibes all around and we were charmed by the setting inside and out and the history of the business – they’ve been open since the 80s! Can’t wait to return for weekend high tea!

Service was great. Our waitress was very kind and helpful. I don’t think the food is really for me but my husband enjoyed everything. He liked the bangers and mash and the fish and chips with tarter sauce. The mac and cheese was really good though. Definitely get that if you go.
