Best choice out of the ice cream shops closely located here. 5 most pertinent items 1- Vegan / non- dairy options! (the competition close by does not have any of these options) … 2- Ice cream and waffle cones all made in-house. 3- open year round EXCEPT February. 4- they have ready to go ice cream pies and cookie sandwiches. 5- REAL premium hot fudge. They put the nuts and fudge under the whipped cream on top of the ice cream – much better in this format.
Charlotte, our server, was superb and quite knowledgeable about the ice creams, the process, and the vision of the store. It is more of a “kid friendly” atmosphere. train track on the ceiling. Decor geared toward children. A bit noisy, but they do have a couple of tables outside.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE if the quality of ice cream and non dairy options are important.

The ice cream here was really good. The consistency was perfectly hard but smooth. The coffee was the best coffee I have ever had, and I’ve had many different coffees since it’s my favorite flavor. The death by chocolate was also good. The portions were generous and the prices reasonable. The atmosphere was really good too. They had a train going on top and kids movies playing from Disney plus.

I love love love the pb chocolate ice cream here!! The staff (mostly teens) is beyond super sweet, smiley, and kind. It was so hot out that my sister and I ate inside. The atmosphere is laid back and family friendly…a movie was playing on the big screen tv!! I wish I had little ones to take here! This is my new favorite ice cream shop on the Cape!!! ❤️

There are several ice cream shops in the same area. We picked here, found the staff not very friendly. Ice cream is good. I ordered a cone, we left to sit outside. Upon my first lick all the ice cream fell onto the ground. The cone was broken in several spots. I realize this happens, sometimes in shipping and sometimes in scooping. I brought everything back in and explained the issue. The person in charge said that once I touched the cone it was no longer their responsibility. I showed her the cone,she still didn’t want to replace it. Several customers were as surprised as I was. After much discussion she finally did saying it’s not the policy.

I was trying to order an ice cream cake for a graduation. I called a week prior twice during business hours. No one answered. Finally got ahold of someone who said the cake order person wasn’t working and he’d take my number and call me back. Never got a call back. Now it’s 3 days before the event so I drive over there because it says they open at one. I get there at 1:10. They are closed, sign says “be back at 2” so I walk around to some of the shops to kill time, only to return a little after 2 to see a sign now posted on the door that says “not opening today because of weather”. What in the actual hell. Who runs a business like this? I have to go elsewhere now for the cake.

Thank you Whistle Stop Ice Cream shop in Mashpee Commons for the extremely delicious ice cream cake!!!! Loving the Caramel Brownie ice cream on the bottom and Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup ice cream on the top with the absolutely scrumptious topping of chopped peanut butter cups, brownie pieces and fudge drizzle with crumbled chocolate on the sides, oh my how divine! Thank you soooo much for another amazing ice cream cake 🙂
