This place surprised me. When we came in for Wing Wednesday the guy said these will be the best wings you’ve had. We kinda laughed it off …. yet here we are again. These are some of the BEST wings. The Buffalo Gold is amazing. They happily dialed up the heat of the Nashville hot. Wings are meaty and saucy. Harry is an added bonus. Friendly and makes great food. Highly recommend. The bar is also a bonus. Drinks and wings what more do you need.

Honestly, the food hits every single time, it’s so good. You won’t regret anything you get. And they’re clearly very appreciative of their customers based on my to go containers haha. Which is so sweet and cute. Will be ordering from here as long as they are in business and I’m in the area haha.

We recently relocated to the Brockport area and began our quest to find our go-to pizza spot. Our first stop was The Rooster, and we were genuinely impressed. The bar and restaurant are separated, which effectively caters to both crowds. While the dining area is somewhat plain and could benefit from an update, the setup of ordering at the counter and choosing your own seating adds a nice touch.
The highlight of our visit was the food. Our order arrived within 30 minutes and was delicious. We opted for a classic cheese pizza and honey BBQ wings. The pizza was cooked to perfection, with a crispy yet slightly doughy crust enhanced by a flavorful garlic Parmesan coating. The wings were perfectly cooked, offering a crispy exterior and juicy interior. The honey BBQ sauce was an excellent choice that we believe most customers will enjoy.
Overall, we had a positive experience and will definitely be ordering from The Rooster again.

Poor-to-average overall. Was expecting more from this place with a sharp storefront, 4.5 stars on Google, and a decent website. The place is split into two, bar on one side, dining room on the other. You order at the counter in the back of the dining room, sit down, and food is brought to you, which is a nice touch. We ordered a Rooster’s Nest, (their specialty, just six wings, got ours with Country Sweet, on top of onion “straws” (rings)) with a five piece Garlic Parm order of wings. I asked for the wings and onion rings well done. 43 minutes later, the five piece came out, then two minutes after that, the Rooster’s Nest. The five piece had a ranch instead of a blue cheese, small mistake that they quickly fixed. But, 40+ minutes was way too long for that small and simple order, especially considering they were not busy at all. The worst part, the wings were BURNT, definitely beyond servable. I asked for well done, got them burned, but somehow the skin was still chewy and had jiggle – cooking temperature problem? We were pretty hungry and running out of time, so we ate what we could, but man the food was just not good. The wings weren’t very big, on the medium-small end, and were only lightly sauced. On a brighter note, really the highlight of the restaurant, the bathroom was very clean and smelled good. Also, TVs all over so we were kept mildly occupied with some professional motorcycle racing, but on the other hand, the soft rock definitely got old. Possibly a low three stars, but a solid two stars.

Excellent pizza and wings at The Rooster. Would love to post the image of the wings as they arrived but dug into them while they were hot and crispy so the picture is after hunger was addressed. We chose a mid of Boom-boom sauce and BBQ (called the Boom-BQ). Wonderful flavor!
I like my wings cooked and not mushy and The Rooster does a fry and follow with a quick bake to add some char to the wings. Gives a great crunch to the wings.
Got a pepperoni pizza and that was consumed so fast. Nice crust, sauce flavor and toppings. Yum!

I had to go to the restaurant after 30 minutes of trying to call them. There were no customers in the restaurant and the guy working was just sitting on his phone, not making orders because they were that slow. When I told him the phone was busy for more than 30 minutes he didn’t seem to care.
I asked him for chicken wings with spice rub, he said he didn’t know what I was talking about. We just got them six months ago with a spice rub and they were amazing as usual. I really wanted them again, but the guy didn’t know what I was talking about. I still ordered pizza and chicken wings. I was told 25-30 minutes.
I came back 25 minutes later and the guy asked me what he can get me. He forgot me within 25 minutes of leaving, even though there was still nobody in the restaurant and he was back to sitting on his phone.

The pizza and wings were very good! The staff was very polite. The only real negative thing in my experience was there was no blue cheese in my wing container. I didn’t realize it till I was already home and about to eat!
