I visited on 12/22/2025 after 2pm. I was extremely satisfied with the service and especially the dining area. I really enjoyed the modern aesthetic. This is a type of place where you walk in, you order at the counter, they will bring the food to you. I got 3 steak taco combo, it comes with a drink, and choice of fries or beans. A few of the toppings cost extra to add on, understandably. But they run lunch specials during the day, according to the poster on the window facing the road. The lady I forgot her name who brought the food to me, walked by a few times to check to see how i liked the food. I enjoyed coming for the 1st time. I will need try out there Merrillville & Valparaiso locations next. I recommend Taco Pros!

Ordered catering very last minute, the presentation of the tacos along with the flavor and freshness was hands down the best I’ve ever had. None of that sloppy greasy sloppy tossed together tacos that is usually given by taco spots. The food was such that you felt no guilt eating 6 tacos ! Reminds me of California Los Angeles star quality tacos. The staff there is so sweet and so eager to satisfy the customer. You can’t help but want to go back. The entire experience was a 10 out of 10 . I wish I would have taken a picture before everyone dug in but it was definitely too good to wait. I will be ordering from here from now on, I can’t believe it took me so long to stop in. Everyone in the area now needs to step their game up.

Yesterday was my second time ordering from this place and of course it was a total hit. I came in unexpectedly and had to order catering for the same day. They were happy to help and everything came out perfect their food is always delicious. The presentation is always on point and the service overall is just unbeatable. I Have been here two times. Both times a guy name Z served me and my girlfriend. He was very polite, respectful and outgoing. The food was outstanding, and very well priced. Great atmosphere for kids and adults. It is a wonderful place to order like fast food but enjoy it like a sit down restaurant!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this establishment and was thoroughly impressed with the experience. The steak burrito dinner, priced at just over $14 after tax, was exceptional. The quality and flavor of the burrito were outstanding, making it well worth the wait. Accompanied by perfectly seasoned beans and rice, each component of the meal was delicious. The service was attentive and professional, further enhancing the dining experience. I look forward to returning whenever I crave authentic Mexican cuisine.

Taco Pros – Mexican Cochina in Dyer, Indiana has good food and good vibes . On my 1st visit yesterday I wanted to try their combo platter with a variety of tacos . I had 1 steak taco, 1 chicken taco and 1 ground beef taco all Mexican style. I really liked the steak and chicken tacos. The combo came with rice and beans served individually in these cute little edible fried tortilla bowls. The service was great. The Mexican upbeat modern day music was pumping.

Wow It was my mother’s birthday today and she wanted tacos so I wanted to try Taco Pro. I was so glad I did!!! I ordered 20 taco tray and it was done within 15 minutes. The young lady at the counter was very informative and nice. The presentation of the tacos was awesome grilled jalapeños and limes looked as good as it tasted! I will diffently be back.

The grand opening was very uncomfortable. It felt like we walked into an uninvited private party for friends and family. Nobody greeting customers or letting us know where to order. There was nowhere to sit for actual customers and people blocking the drink station, it felt like chaos. We were hoping for amazing food because of the high prices but the quality of the food does not reflect. The horchata was overly sweet and not freshly made. The salsas were very watered down. Taco Pros would benefit if they had a spicy salsa for those that actually like spice on their menu because the steak and shrimp tacos were pretty bland. The only taco that was ok was the barbacoa taco.
Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend Taco Pros if you’re looking for authentic mexican food. Here goes to another chain restaurant in the area.
