When the owner handed me my bag with our four burgers and waffle fries, he said “here you go, happiness in a bag!”
He was spot on.
These were easily the very best burgers I’ve had in long time. We tried the Ranch burger (with a whole fire grilled green chile ️), the high roller burger (with an incredible Aioli sauce), the lady luck burger, and a custom bacon cheese burger. Every one of them was delicious.
The meat had an unbelievable flavor and smokiness from the fire. We were told it was dry aged for three weeks before butchering.
The buns and all the other ingredients were fresh and had great flavor.
The waffle fries were warm and crispy, and the mix of seasoned and just normal fries was really good as well. We tried three different sauces with them: BBQ, the Aioli, and a sauce similar to guacamole.
This place is easily worth the drive from quite a ways away. I’d come here a lot more regularly, if I didn’t have to drive for four hours one way…

Second, this spot has one of the best burgers available anywhere for the price & unpretentious atmosphere. Simple, no fuss, no fluff just a very easy-going menu served out of a simple trailer.
The fella (he said he was the father of Blackjack the owner/cook) is friendly, honest & easy going.
The waffle fries were delicious as was my Blackjack Burger.
If you are passing thru, pull in, but, don’t expect a seat in the extremely casual set-up. But definitely pull in.
