Food is great but they have outgrown the ability to serve their customers. We made reservations for Mothers Day and after 2hrs wait we walked out, the kitchen size can not accommodate large groups and no matter how great Ms.Pat is she can not wait every table in the building…. Short story, if you drive up and there’s 2-3 cars already there… LEAVE… they are at their maximum capacity…leave unless you have 2-3hrs to kill on a piece of fish

Absolutely loved this place, location, service, food, everything was great. If I had to come up with some kinda complaint the only thing I can possibly come up with would be that they need more lighting in the womens restroom, that’s literally all I can come up with lol. Don’t waste your money. Overpriced horrible food. Ordered a medium rare steak I got a very rare cold cent. Extremely tough piece of meat. Waitress was clueless. Had to ask 2-3 times to get something. Almost a hundred dollars for a dinner for 3.

I was looking forward to dining at Lakewood after not visiting for seven years. This time, I was excited to bring my family along as we were celebrating a birthday. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing, with the best part being the time spent with my family rather than the meal itself.
We arrived at 6:20 PM, but our food didn’t arrive until 8:20 PM. The service was severely lacking, which was evident from the start. They were out of boiled shrimp, and later, there was a mix-up with our orders, further delaying our meal. By the time our food finally arrived, I requested it be packed in to-go boxes due to the extended wait.
Our server, who seemed to be the only one working, handed us our food and apologized for the delay, adding that a tip had already been included. Unfortunately, the food itself was far from satisfactory. My party remarked that the fish tasted as if it had been reheated in a microwave, and the shrimp was extremely unappetizing. The only positive feedback was that the steak was decent.
To add to the disorganization, our server had to return to our table because she forgot what we had ordered and needed to make a ticket and stated an automatic gratuity is added to the ticket. Due to the poor service, it’s clear that we will not be returning. The overall experience was very disappointing.

Service was good and food was not as good as it usually is. Proportions where extremely small and highly over priced this visit and the alligator bits where so tough you couldn’t chew them, boiled shrimp was not cooked in any seasoning but was covered in Cayenne pepper to the point it wasn’t even edible, blooming onion had no flavor to batter and was wat undercooked and the sauce was sweet and just didn’t go with it. Was very disappointed especially since prior visits food has been great and reasonably priced, this time it was triple what we normally pay

Our waitress was the only thing that saved this train wreck. After ordering, we waited over an hour for our food. When it arrived it was horrible. The fish was cold and greasy. Catfish strips were ordered and cold filets were served. What was meant to be a nice Mother’s Day dinner turned into a over priced take home meal for the dogs.
