We stopped ordering from Marco’s on N Hamilton as we’ve had so many order problems.
But we decided to give them another chance today and we’re so glad we did.
I met John the new manager of this location who took over recently. He seemed like a good guy who is sincerely committed to turning things around for this location.
I ordered two pies to go and they looked fantastic in the store and the flavor when we got home was outstanding! The dough was very fresh and the extra sauce I ordered and toppings were the correct proportions. See pix.
Thanks John! It was nice meeting you. We will be back!!!

Marco’s pizza,

I hope this message finds you well. I’m writing to express a very upsetting experience I had with one of your store locations, which left me feeling disrespected, dismissed, and ultimately unvalued as a long-standing customer.

I have been a loyal supporter of Marco’s Pizza for quite some time. I regularly order from your store—typically a large or extra-large cheese pizza, or occasionally half cheese and half pineapple. My family and I have always appreciated the quality of your food and service, which is why I chose to place a significant order with your team for my niece’s recent birthday celebration.

I ordered five large pizzas, and to my dismay, one of them arrived with bacon. As someone who adheres strictly to religious dietary restrictions, I have never in my history of ordering from your store—not even once—ordered any pork or pig-related products. This mistake was not only frustrating but also deeply offensive to my beliefs.

When I called the store to respectfully address the issue, I was shocked by the response I received. The individual who answered—who identified as or appeared to be the manager—was immediately defensive, snappy, and dismissive. Despite calmly explaining my concerns, I was met with hostility. He insisted that I had ordered the bacon, even though I clearly stated that I had not, and that I never would due to my religious beliefs. Instead of offering a solution or any understanding, he raised his voice, spoke to me in a degrading tone, and ultimately told me to “never call back.”

I cannot express how hurtful and dehumanizing that felt. Not only was the response unprofessional, but it left me questioning whether my religion, identity, and business were ever respected at all. It’s incredibly disheartening to be treated as though I am unworthy of basic courtesy, especially as a regular customer who has supported your business over the years.

This experience goes beyond a wrong pizza order—it made me feel as though I, and my values, simply didn’t matter. I don’t believe any customer, regardless of background or beliefs, should ever be spoken to or treated in that way. It’s not just about the food—it’s about human decency, respect, and the way we engage with one another, especially in a service-oriented business.

I hope you take this message seriously. I am not asking for compensation—I am asking for accountability, awareness, and a better standard of customer care. I would also appreciate a formal response regarding how this situation will be addressed and how you plan to ensure this kind of behavior doesn’t happen to others.

Thank you for your time, and I sincerely hope to see Marco’s Pizza live up to the standards I once admired.

Sincerely,
Lila & Muna and all the family member I have passed this pizza place to.

This Marco’s is our go-to for takeout pizza. They are friendly, fast, reasonably priced thanks to promotions, and do a great job with allergen orders. We have a dairy allergy in the family, and they are always careful with the no-cheese pizza. (Marco’s also has a full allergen disclosure on their website.) See photo for dairy-free pizza next to The Big Cheese, which is for those in our fam who love dairy. If you want to dine in, there are two big booth tables in the store.

My lord this place is so slow. They run behind regardless of time of day or weekday. They show literally no hustle or pace. The employees don’t care so this seems to be bad management as well. If you order delivery, the driver waits probably 15 minutes every time. I truly hate how pathetic they are. Why can’t we be better, literally one time?

I ordered a thin crust pepperoni pizza and I got a burnt crust pizza instead. I’ve ordered thin crust before so I’m not sure what this was. I’ve never tried to bite a rock, but I’m pretty sure that even the rock of jabalpur isn’t as hard as this crust was. The whole pizza itself was hard, kind of like trying to chew Vibranium mixed with titanium. It’s like the staff was offended that I had the audacity to order thin crust and went out of their way to make sure I never ordered it again. Matthew 7:9 “You parents—if your children ask for a loaf of bread, do you give them a stone instead?” The staff who made my pizza are descendants of the parents who would give their child a stone instead of a loaf of bread. This was just pathetic and sad.

The driver exhibited an unprofessional and aggressive demeanor. Instead of using the Ring doorbell, he repeatedly pounded on my door, displaying extreme aggression . He was irate that I had a $50 bill, as my order was only $21. He would have received a $6 tip, but he lacked the change to provide it. Consequently, he became belligerent and refused to contact the store to use my card. He verbally abused me, accusing me of wasting his time in front of my house. It is astonishing that this incident occurred in front of my house, as the Preserve North is within walking distance of Marcos. Fortunately, my Ring camera captured the entire event. While Marcos’s food is exceptional, the behavior of some of the company’s representatives, particularly the drivers, warrants reevaluation.

Can’t follow basic simple directions, can’t read a phone number placed properly, nor can they find an address properly. Thanks for wasting my time! First experience with Marco’s and last. Also thanks for the attitude on the phone when you messed up.

Had a bad experience and left a 1 star review but district manager got in contact and corrected the issue.
Still recommend Dine in/ take out versus delivery. But overall I am happy with the service and food.

I had stopped ordering “pizza” from Marcos on north hamilto rd quite a while back after getting 2 awful pizzas for a special price of $8.99 each for 2 topping pizzas offer. They were disgusting. Decided tonight I’d give them a second chance since they did credit that order and my guests said they liked the Marco’s where they live. BIG mistake! Used their 30% off offer on any pizza and the pizza I got definitely reflected they took 30% off the pizza. I was so embarrassed. Their subs, salads and wings are good most of the time. They shouldn’t offer deals and then try to recoup it on the pizza. I’ll go back to either making my own or driving to a REAL pizzeria from now on.
