The food here is quite expensive. We paid $2.99 for a rancid spring roll. I ordered crispy pork ($16.99) but it was overcooked (see picture), the sauce was bland, and it was served on a bed of raw green peppers and onions My husband ordered the beef General Tso ($16.99+). He said it was alright.
However, the service and atmosphere were good.
In short, the food tasted like it came from a typical American Chinese restaurant not a “fine” Chinese cuisine but was much more expensive and served in way smaller portions.

What a delightful surprise to find this place right next to some high speed chargers in Mattoon. Service was friendly, quick and great plating/presentation. I had the miso soup, somosas and basil tofu, with no peppers. Everything was absolutely delicious.

First time eating at Hunan, and the service and food were wonderful. To top it all off my sister-in-law was celebrating a birthday and they brought out a special drink and gift for her. I was really impressed. I highly recommend the Cashew Chicken. We will be back!

Only cause i cant give ZERO stars.Food so expensive. Doesnt match price on line. Waste. Never again. Got 2 egg rolls. Lol with no filling .4 beef sticks the size of my finger.and 3 crab ragoons. Almost $28..for what??? Should have just stuck with thai noodle way.way better and prices better. Would have got same amount of food for $10. Insane. Wish I could post pics on here

It’s been 20 years since I’ve found really, really good oriental food. We were so surprized by the quality and service this far away from a big city. Fantastic meals all around, really nice atmosphere and good service. I highly recommend.
