Stopped for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. They were short staffed due to two employees calling off. The female manager was extremely polite and calm even though they were very busy. The food was prepared fast and hot. The dining room was very clean. Great job!!

This location is decent. The girl who took my order was very nice, but the food was absolutely awful. I ordered a three-piece tender meal and the chicken strips they gave me were a joke! I will post a picture of the two Chicken strips that I didn’t eat. I made a comment when they gave me my food, but she said all the strips are like that. They certainly weren’t fresh that’s for sure. The female, who is cleaning the dining area was rude as could be set her cleaning stuff right next to where I was eating and walked away texting on her phone.

I don’t usually write reviews but I had to on this one. I had such nice service today and the dining room was very clean and staff were very respectful. This is the best Popeye’s experience I have ever had, and I LOVE Popeyes. Great stuff at this location!

Dinning room was locked due to low staff. Got home very little shrimp and the two tenders were hard as a rock. Completely dried out and mostly breading as you can see in the pictures. Handed me the drink carry with one lid off and didn’t mark the different drinks.

Chicken tenders were overly crispy and hard to eat with no flavor. The red beans & rice were cold & tasteless. I did like the Mac & Cheese though it was just warm. The biscuit was dry but tasty. The Sweet Tea was a bit watered down. The atmosphere was just shy of generic.

I tried Popeyes Chicken for the first time and won’t be back for a while. The menu felt underwhelming and the flavor of the food was similar to KFC/Long John right up the road with a few exceptions.
My table ordered $50 worth of food which included: popcorn shrimp, spicy chicken sandwhich, chicken tenders, Mac and cheese, and cajun fries. The two items here that are worth mentioning and reordering would be the spicy chicken & the Cajun fries. The rest of the food wasn’t memorable.
The atmosphere was modern and lots of the seating options accommodate up to four people. The space is on the smaller side and while there the mess of customer traffic was quickly stacking up. The counters near the drink machine needed cleaned up and tables needed wiped down at times. With that, I will say before leaving I did see a manager on the floor addressing some of those messes. There was also an inconsistency with the way meals were packaged (box vs. paper boat) and the honey packets were covered in honey on the outside. The parking lot can be tight and depending on the amount of traffic jammed up. The flow of traffic also has to share lanes and space with the Dunkin Donuts right next store. It will be interested to see what happens when both places are open and seeing customers. I would caution to stay alert (one of the entrances/exits is at the drive they side where majority of the parking is) and drive slow.
The service was okay. There were several employees standing around one another at the registers. This might be folks shadowing or training I’m unsure. My biggest complaint with the service was the communication. I placed an order that included a large Mac and cheese. The rest of my food came out rather quickly (10min or less) without the Mac and cheese. None of the employees said anything about the missing item or a delay in filing the order. I waited a total of 40min and had to go to the counter 3 times asking about it. Being told each time it would be ready soon. Apparently, they were only filling individual orders and not large orders due to running low on supply.
Overall, I think a lot of these service flaws can improve over time once the rush of the “opening days” slow down and I can see a few of the item menus being worth the occasional visit.

Have really liked Popeyes since I first discovered them decades ago. But the Popeyes in Alexandria KY takes the top award for service! The food as always was great and the service was exceptional! Plus it was very clean. I don’t eat out much but I’ll be back!

Just stopped by to pick up an order while doordashing. I didn’t catch the managers name, but he was exceptionally friendly, apologetic for the small amount of time I waited, and even offered me a free drink for the trouble(which was no trouble at all.)
He really lent himself to the atmosphere and his positivity really put my evening on a better track.

Went to the Alexandria, Ky location last night, had to drive around the building twice because the drive thru guy was too busy hanging out the window laughing and cutting up with someone in another car. When we got to order, we asked for an 8pc spicy meal with mashed/gravy and Mac and cheese. They were out of mac so they through in coleslaw for free. We thought,’ oh that was cool of them… ‘. Get home and we found nothing but chicken jerky in our box and the coleslaw looked pink. It tasted like someone spilled some sort of red soda in it. Thank God for the mashed and biscuits but hey they gave us 10 pieces of jerky so I guess we should be happy right? My husband indicated he was annoyed by the wait and the lack of mac and cheese so I’m wondering if it wasn’t on purpose… We couldn’t eat the chicken so it doesn’t really matter but we also asked for honey mustard and they forgot it…

We had a good lunch at Popeyes, the line wasn’t bad, and the food was fresh and hot. We got a variety of different things to test it all I did like the Cajun-style things like the fries and the red beans and rice. portions were good. I only wish that I had noticed on the menu that is available in spicy and regular. It was there but in some fancy font – not obvious for a new visitor to the restaurant
