Great food and service, one of my go-to’s after I get out of the gym late. I’ve tried several of their curries and noodle dishes and they were all pretty good, and they also can make it seriously spicy on request 🙂
But the best of all is the sushi. Amazing and great variety.
Not the cheapest but for me, totally worth it.

I have not had one dish here that was bad. The owner is a very nice lady and the sushi chief is top notch. This is my favorite sushi place in Boulder hands down, but the other asian food from here is awesome as well. I eat here about once a month and am never disappointed by the food or people.

Lunchtime experience was completely disappointing. I’d say the best thing about this meal was the iced tea. The sushi rolls were loosely rolled and fell apart upon picking them up (and I’m no newbie with the chop sticks). Salad was overpriced as were most of the menu items. Service was so-so and came from two different waitstaff.
Not very impressed and have no plans to return.

My absolute favorite thai place in Boulder! The lady that runs the place is really friendly – she challenged me to eat the jungle curry (crazy spicy!) once and kept giving me bowls of rice till I finished it. The thai food is excellent. I’ve never tried anything on their Japanese menu but my friends tell me their sushi isn’t the greatest, just ok. This place is definitely worth trying if you’re into spicy thai food and live around Boulder.

I decided to give this place a try today, and will not be going back. I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai, and was very disappointed with it. The chicken was low quality (chewy), and the Pad Thai sauce was spicier, and not the same, as I have had it anywhere else. When I asked where they get their chicken from, the manager just laughed at me. When I expressed my dislike of the dish to the manger, she said that she couldn’t do anything about it, and would not let me exchange it for anything else. So much for giving it a try. This is the first, and last, time I will go to Thai Shi House.

$1.00 beer special only for second beer, and only if it’s the same person ordering the beer, and only if it’s the same type of beer. This is all fine, but when we asked specifically about the rules on that we weren’t told any of this. We get the bill with two $4 beers on there. When we disputed it, they manager came over to let us know this is policy – claiming that the waitress told us the policy. It was aggravating the way this was handled. As a customer I felt so deceived! The sushi was not that great either.

There was 1 customer in the place last night when I stopped by after 8p for a take out order. It had been a long day at work (followed by some exercise) so before heading home with my $20. worth of green curry & seaweed salad, I decided to take a couple bites of the salad to tie me over until I got home. One of the staff ran up to my table as if a fire evacuation was needed & scolded me that if I had wanted to eat there, I should not have ordered take out! Stunned as I was, I asked if that was some federal or OSHA law requiring this & she replied that ‘no’, it was a rule that the restaurant made up with no explanation as to ‘why’. If the tables had been even 1/2 full I could see their desire to not take up space but I had even thrown a $1.50 tip on the bill at the register. Geez. For such average flavor & portions (mini box of brown rice) as well as fast-food ambiance & service, this place is overpriced. Won’t be back with so many other delicious choices in town.

Meh. I went here because I drive past it all the time and was curious. If you want the best sushi in town, go to Tasuki or Zanmai. If you just want sushi, here is an option. The food is a little bland, but the service is pretty good. It is never very crowded. The decor is kind of weird, but they get your food to you quickly and I don’t have any immediate complaints. Just not amazing sushi or thai. I don’t know if I’ll ever go again, but if you’re on a budget and want somewhere easy, here is an option.

My family and I really enjoy this place. Quick and easy and the food is great. For a while we didn’t know what it was because of the name, eggloo made us think breakfast. Then once we realized it was thai we tried it. Not frequently busy it makes it feel like it’s our place.

Great quality Thai and Japanese food. Best I’ve found in Boulder. Reasonable prices too. Their mango and sweet rice dessert is amazing.
