So glad we did! We got the pad Thai, orange chicken, teriyaki chicken & the samosas for an appetizer.
All the food was excellent! I’ve tried pad Thai in other places and was never a big fan, but I really enjoyed this one!
My only note is that the teriyaki chicken is not sweet (I prefer this) but I know some people wouldn’t expect that.
We will definitely be back!
For dinner, we had a few sushi rolls, noodles, the Filipino Lechon, Orange Chicken, and Taro Bubble Tea!
What a wonderful atmosphere with great decorations and music!
It is an affordable place for the delicious food served on large platters!
The people here are very welcoming and kind!
The Orange Chicken is a MUST!
GO EAT HERE!!! 🙂 you will not regret it!
I recently had an early dinner here with two friends, and I can’t believe we somehow overlooked this hidden gem for so long. Tucked between Mall Road and TJ Maxx, it might be easy to miss—but don’t let the location fool you. This little restaurant is something special.
The space is small, but bright and welcoming, with crisp white tables and chairs that give it a clean, fresh feel. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warmth that felt sincere—not rushed or rehearsed, just genuinely kind.
We decided to share everything so we could get a true taste of the menu on our first visit, and it was the best decision.
To start, we ordered Classic Brown Sugar Milk Bubble Tea, Coconut Bubble Milk Tea, and a hot jasmine tea. Each drink was flavorful and refreshing. The jasmine tea, served in a beautiful teacup, was especially lovely—the aroma alone was calming and inviting.
For appetizers, we tried the Fresh Spring Rolls, Egg Rolls, and the house specialty Sa-Mo-Sa (a Burmese-style samosa). The fresh spring rolls were delicate and light, wrapped in soft rice paper and filled with noodles and vegetables, served with a rich peanut sauce. They were similar to Vietnamese spring rolls, though without the mint and cilantro, which gave them their own distinct personality.
The egg rolls were crisp and golden, reminiscent of classic Chinese restaurant egg rolls—but noticeably fresher and not at all greasy.
The biggest surprise for me was the Sa-Mo-Sa. I’ve had samosas at Indian restaurants before, but these were different in the best way. The potatoes were mashed to a creamy consistency, perfectly seasoned without being overly spicy. As someone who isn’t usually a fan of onions, I was thrilled that they were practically undetectable. Both the egg rolls and samosas were served with the same sweet-and-spicy house sauce, which added a bold, flavorful kick to each bite.
Our first entrée to arrive was the Wonton Noodle (served without broth). It was a generous portion of springy egg noodles topped with slices of pork and tender wontons. A small bowl of savory broth came on the side, allowing us to spoon it over the noodles as we pleased—a thoughtful touch that elevated the dish even more.
Next came the Burmese-style beef curry, served with rice. The beef and potatoes were cooked to perfection—so tender they practically melted in your mouth. A quick note on spice levels: they range from 1 to 4. We ordered a level 2, and it had a satisfying, lingering heat that definitely made its presence known!
The Crispy Filipino Pork Belly (Lechon Kawali) arrived last, presented as a generous plate of rice surrounded by slices of tender, crispy-edged pork. At first, it seemed a bit mild—but when our server realized she had forgotten the signature brown sauce and quickly brought it out, everything changed. Once spooned over the pork, the dish came alive with layers of tangy, smoky, slightly spicy flavor. It transformed into something truly memorable and unique.
By the end of the meal, we were already talking about what we’d order next time. There are so many dishes left to try, and we absolutely plan to return.
What really stood out was the overall experience. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant itself was very clean and tidy, which made the atmosphere even more enjoyable. On top of that, the prices were surprisingly cheap for the quality of food and service we received.
This place exceeded my expectations in every way. Great food, great service, great value. I’ll definitely be coming back, especially for the pho.
