After a long day of traveling and really needing a pick-me-up, Kalynn was exceptionally kind and welcoming today!
I ordered a tall sugar-free caramel vanilla latte (hot) $5.76, and a Tetra water (free), and everything was perfect.
The service was truly exceptional, and I really appreciated being able to use the restroom as well. Such a welcoming, positive experience, exactly what I needed.

Best Starbucks in Lacey / Olympia region. My order is correct, every single time. If I go to any other Starbucks it’s always over-extracted or they forget the cinnamon or it’s extremely bitter. This Starbucks makes it right EVERY TIME. Friendly staff, they know me on first name basis now. Great service. I drive 20 minutes every day just to get my coffee here.

I ordered using the app but i still had personal interaction with three of the staff. All pleasant & happy to be there. Very friendly vibe there on Monday (915) afternoon around 4:00. There was a small mistake in my drink, they fixed it on the spot – no problem, and offered me a free drink. The bathroom and dining area are clean as a whistle! Might be my new favorite coffee shop spot.

Service is very poor. Staff are rude. Coffee is not consistently good. I have gone many times over several years, but now I drive many miles to get better customer service and coffee/food. I used drive through and pickup in store.

As soonest I came in the store it sounded like i was greeted, but I was not sure. I needed to go to the restroom before I place my order, so I asked for.the code. The female at the counter, dark hair with a black beanie on her head, for some reason asked me if I was going to place an order because the bathrooms are for customers only. I told her, yes but I felt uncomfortable that she asked me that. When I made my order, the same lady did not even asked for my name to go with the order. When my order came up, she sounded my drink as an ice latte but it was a caramel frappe. About a minute later i looked up to the counter to realize that my drink was at the counter. Everyone else was being called by name for their order. There should be a sign stating the bathroom is for customers only.

Can I get some coffee with my ice??? It doesn’t really matter to me what drink you buy, there should never be this much ice in a $10 cup of coffee. If they have to add this much ice to fill the cup, they shouldn’t sell the coffee in this size, by the time I even finish it, It’s water.
And yes, you can remake a drink, however, when it’s a mobile order and you’ve already left the store, and you’re on the freeway, there’s no turning back to have a drink remade. The drinks should be made correctly the first time and it happens too frequently at this store. And the employees give you an excuse two or three times before they offer to remake it.

Usually a 5 star store, 11/16 they didn’t feel like opening the front doors, it was 22 minutes past open. Made eye contact and continued with whatever they were doing.

Disappointing Experience
As someone who travels frequently for work and relies on businesses like Starbucks while on the road, I was extremely disappointed with the Marvin Road location. I stopped in needing to use the restroom—clean cut, mid-30s professional just trying to get through a long day—and was told I couldn’t use the restroom without making a purchase. I understand policies are in place for a reason, but a little discretion and human decency go a long way. I’ve spent plenty of money at Starbucks locations across the country, and this kind of treatment is frustrating and off-putting. Definitely makes me think twice about where I spend my money moving forward.

At this location, 2350 Marvin rd SE Lacey WA, the young woman who took our order was very wonderful, patient and helpful. The young woman who made our order, on the other hand, was rude as all get out. I would use expletives if you asked me in person. Her name is Katelyn(not sure on spelling). On our order, my mom asked for them to not put cinnamon on the top of her drink. When I picked it up, there was cinnamon on top. The tag on the side showed the order was taken right, it was just prepared wrong. Now, this is a common thing that happens when special ordering just about anywhere, and that doesn’t upset or offend me. I took it back to the woman I had ordered from, apologized, but asked for it to be remade. She was very nice about it. When I walked by the station it was to be remade at, I heard Katelyn say “just scrape it off”. The woman who took the order stated that the customer, my mom, was allergic. Katelyn replied “of course she is”. This is absolutely unacceptable on multiple levels. I will say that after the drink was remade I asked for her name and I then told her that it wasn’t our fault she had made it wrong so it was very rude for her to say what she had said. I’m not blaming Starbucks, but I think Katelyn needs a reality check and to be taught that if a mistake was made, you fix it the right way, not by “scraping it off”. Own your mistakes, be a good human, and move on with your day.
