We got the jerk chicken, jerk chicken wings, cabbage, and Mac n cheese. Omg soooo delicious. I really think the Mac n cheese was the best I’ve ever had and that’s saying a lot bc my mom always made it from scratch. The chicken was moist and had a great flavor and tolerable spice level. We can’t wait to get it again. Not really a sit down place, but if you want to try it and bring it home, definitely do it. The food and prices are great! Thank you!

First of all , I deliver food for some extra cash and in all the deliveries I have done no one has offered to feed me , but the beautiful lady who owns Marks with her brother and does the cooking was kind enough to offer me the curry chicken she had made extra and I can’t say enough about her and the love I tasted in that meal !! The chicken was cooked to perfection and blended with the rice perfectly , I was so full but couldn’t stop eating, which is the only imaginable down side to eating food that delicious! There is a difference between home cooking and restaurant prepared meals most of the time that difference is indescribable with words but you just know and this was home cooking all the way!
Oh and last thing , for me , how one feels after a meal can make or break it and
I still have a smile on my face and my heart is as full as my belly !! Thank You ❤️❤️

I’ve only ordered from them through DD so I can’t speak about the restaurant but I can say the Oxtail & Jerk Chicken platters are sensational. Delicious & Massive portions. In fact, I’m headed there today for dinner. Can’t wait!

Got the lunch special curry chicken and stewed chicken!!! Portions are insane and the price is amazing! The curry chicken was fire in my mouth but so tasty and flavorful. The stew chicken was balanced and meat was just falling off the bone. Friendly service, clean spot and always a smile when You enter. Great selection to pick from and you won’t be disappointed.

Visited Mark’s Place and Restaurant for takeout and had a mixed experience. We ordered oxtail stew, curry chicken, jerk chicken, rice and peas, and fried plantain.
**Food Quality:**
The food was well-prepared with everything coming out moist and tender. The jerk chicken had good spice levels, and both the rice and peas and fried plantain were excellent. Flavors were decent throughout, though could have been more robust in some dishes. For the price point, the seasoning was adequate but left room for improvement.
**Value:**
Exceptional value – three large entrees fed our family of six for under $50. Portions are generous and appropriate for the pricing.
**Service Issues:**
Unfortunately, service significantly detracted from the experience. Our server displayed a poor attitude and attempted to dissuade us from ordering the fried plantain to avoid preparing a fresh batch. We also witnessed her verbally berating another employee in front of customers, which was highly unprofessional.
**Recommendation:**
Despite the service problems, Mark’s Place offers good Jamaican takeout at competitive prices. The food quality and portion sizes make it worthwhile, particularly for takeout orders where interaction with staff is minimal. Consider calling ahead for items that may require fresh preparation.
Would return for the food and value, but service improvements are needed.

This place is a secret treasure!! Absolutely phenomenal food, I would recommend this place to absolutely anyone. My boyfriend (a food connoisseur) said it was “so good he wished he had room for more” and went so far as to compliment the lovely staff. Do yourself a favor and give it a try! If I was local I’d be here weekly!!

Just got 2 trays of oxtails, macaroni pie, and plantains. Everything tasted reheated and was burned. The oxtails had a very thick, dark sauce like syrup on it with large twigs of thyme all in it, the macaroni pie was black/burned and they tried to cover the burned portion with more macaroni on top. The cabbage was soggy with a weird smokey taste to it and the plantains were hard and rubbery on the edges and very greasy like it had been reheated. This food was not worth 23$ a plate. I will gladly pay that price for good food but this wasnt it.

My first time ever visiting this restaurant! The food is just like it is in the picture the flavor is exactly what the review says amazing.! Well seasoned down to literally the bone. I purchased the combo curry chicken and jerk chicken classic. Now I don’t usually eat the bones all I can say is ashes to ashes dust to dust the bones went! Absolutely delicious Price is Right everything phenomenal! When I get up from this long nap of edible goodness I’ll be back! Thank you Mark’s Place!!!

When going to a Caribbean restaurant you want to taste Caribbean food. I ordered a large oxtail for 23.00 dollars and threw it straight in the trash.the oxtail had no flavor the meat did fall off the bone tho the rice taste like the box rice and beans the cabbage was alright. I’ll still recommend marks to friends and family but who ever cooked this meal doesn’t need to be cooking
