The pain au chocolate were very good, and the apfeltaschen were superb – so flaky and buttery. But the stand out was a unique chocolate pear tart – out of this world delicious. Perfectly balanced flavors and textures. The shop was quite small, making dine-in difficult, but otherwise an overall five star experience.

Some comments talk about unfriendly manner and cash only. However, when I’ve been here, staff was welcoming and the card was allowed. Just using machine takes a bit of time. Pain au chocolat was tasty but croissant could be better.

Super!Service is perfect! So friendly! The desserts were incredible delicious! We bought coffee eclairs. Also, I like this french concept. You can find a lot of interesting products . I felt like I’m again in Paris. Thank you! Best wishes for your coffee! I will come back!

The people were kind, but it’s hard to give more than three stars when the croissant – the most iconic French bakery item – is as sub par as theirs in a bakery called “Petite France”. Another side note: they do not accept card payments. Personally, I consider this an inconvenience in 2025 when we also have businesses that prefer card payments. We had to walk a few blocks to a bank to get cash.

A cosy very small cafe. They have 2 tables inside only and a couple of tables for sitting outside.
The items looked delicious. I had the pain au chocolate. Tasted exactly like the one I had in Nice… I hope to try their other items next time.

People here are rude. The food is decent. Plus, if you have no cash, you won’t be able to buy anything.

Edit(after specific reply from the place)
The reply also mentions that things don’t work according to how “it is works from where I originally am from”.
After being “rudely told” that cash is the only mode of payment, and asking them to wait for a few seconds and getting cash from my car outside the store, I was pointed to get back in the line.

The reply seems to be a good try to “give back an appropriate reply”. Should tell you enough about customer service!

Service (2.5) not good although we were alone and there was no crowd, we were standing waiting for the coffee and the lady forgot to make it, and did not mind us standing there. Food (3) the quiche is not fresh, the pain au chocolat is tasty. Atmosphere (3)

Just came back from our almost routine bi-monthly France trip two days ago and miss the pastries already, so decided to try this seemingly promising place. We ordered sandwiches and eclairs and pain au chocolats…and I can’t express enough how disappointed I am, the food is nothing like you would find in France, especially with the eclair, it was inedible. We were so glad at least we walked there, so despite the disappointing breakfast, we still had some exercise done!

Great bakery near Rathaus, Stuttgart.

– Pastries are very well made, the croissant & pain au chocolate is crispy with a good taste of butter

– Staff are friendly and speak German, French, and English

– Credit card payments over €15 only, otherwise need cash

Highly recommend
