Nice little Mexican restaurant. Food was okay. Nicely decorated. Parking and entry in rear. As it’s on a busy road with no street parking. Small chicken soup with avocado was good and surprisingly in a bigger bowl than I expected. Beans had an interesting flavor. Chips and salsa were bit spicy for me. I was going to leave a 5 Star review for the free desert I saw offered in the men’s room. There was a nice poster of four delicious desserts available then below it was a qr code that said free dessert with five star review. So, I left a five star review and told the waitress I left a five star review and I wanted the flan for dessert. She said the flan was not available that I would be up charged for that. The only thing available for the 5 Star Review were Sopapillas. Not exactly what I’d call a good desert for a 5 Star Google Review. When I said I would remove the review she was like oh well. No tip left. Not going back here.

We were passing through and decided to stop for a early dinner. We still had 5 hours of driving till we got home. Glad we did because the food was great. Our server (Dulce) was AWESOME. After her fast and friendly service, she asked us if we wanted drinks to go for our trip home. What a great experience!

I had the carnitas.I will say the pork was dry & had zero flavor BUT the chips were warm & crunchy, they have the best guacamole I have ever had & their beans tho very thin have a kick to them! Overall I’d go back for the guacamole alone!

Today was our second visit to El Paso Mexican Restaurant. I would say that this has quickly become my Family’s favorite restaurant. The presentation of the food is top notch and the salsa is the best around. (Because it’s actually a little spicy!) Emily was our waitress today. She really took great care of us today. Thank you so much.

I am from Texas, so Mexican Food is my “soul food”. El Paso in Maysville did not disappoint. The pastor tacos were zesty and flavorful and the pineapple chunks were in perfect proportion. Chips were thick corn, not the paper thin ones you sometimes get elsewhere. My wife loved the chicken soup so much we got extra to take home and have for dinner. Looking forward to trying more of the menu.

Run, don’t walk, and head to El Paso Mexican Cantina!
We passed it yesterday on our way to Commerce and when we got home we decided to go back out and visit for dinner.
We ordered the shrimp tacos and some queso for the EXCELLENT tortilla chips (which had such a great and different flavor than we’ve had before – loved them!!) Salsa was flavorful as well!
The 3 shrimp tacos were filled with 4 good large size shrimp and it came with rice too! Tacos were soooo good, flavorful and everything came out fast and hot!
The girls on staff were so attentive to us and checked on us often and they were personable as well. We never had to ask for a refill on drinks which I always appreciate.
Love the decor of the restaurant. Everything was done with great attention to detail. Especially loved the wall mural and furniture!
As soon as we left we both agreed this was our new favorite Mexican restaurant in the area and we won’t be going anywhere else!! Can’t wait to go back and try other dishes!
They mentioned they got their liquor license and will be adding alcohol soon if that’s your jam!
They have parking behind the restaurant if you can’t find street parking.

Erica was my server, she was patient, answered questions, and very attentive (without hovering) the food was exceptional! The manager (I didn’t catch his name) was fabulous, too! This was our first time trying this restaurant and it most definitely won’t be our last!!! I ordered guac for my appetizer, and Quesobarrio for my entree. It was all fabulous!!!!

For starters, the service here is top notch! The place was pretty busy when we arrived, but every customer was treated warmly and promptly. The salsa is fantastic! The chips are a little thicker than I prefer, but were still good. I got a HUGE horchata that tasted great. The cheese dip has a slight flavor that my kids and I didn’t love, so I can’t really recommend it. However, I can’t recommend the quesa birria enough. The consume is perfect! I could make a whole meal out of just that. Overall, we had a great experience and I highly recommend everyone in the area to check it out.
