Overall, really neat and clean and nice vibe. Will be coming here again next time we’re in LAS!
If you’re in search of a vegan Asian fair, you definitely need to try this place. Basil is a spacious location with very comfortable seating.
We were promptly greeted, seated and automatically offered water. Their menu has a good range of options for both Thai and Sushi. As a meat eater, this place definitely hits the spot.
Not only are the dishes beautifully plated, it taste amazing. Great staff, delicious food, we’re definitely coming back.
Picking a favorite dish is tough because everything was fantastic, but the standout for me was their incredible plant-based sushi! We tried the Salmon Nigiri (roasted seasoned orange bell pepper on sushi rice), Tuna Nigiri (roasted seasoned tomato on sushi rice), and Eel Nigiri (cooked eggplant on sushi rice topped with sweet soy and sesame seeds). Plus, we sampled a variety of other delicious rolls!
For the Thai food, we had Pad Thai, green curry, and fried rice, among many other dishes! They even offered a refreshing lemongrass tea. And for dessert, you can’t miss the warm sticky rice with mango—such a delightful touch! The black sesame cheesecake was to die for!
If you find yourself in the area, definitely give this place a try, whether you’re vegan or not—it will make you want to embrace veganism! They also have another location on the northwest side of town called Daikon, which is fantastic as well. What makes Basil unique is their emphasis on Thai dishes, all of which were absolutely amazing, and I didn’t miss the meat at all!
As an omnivore and a foodie, I know when I’ve found good food. I hope you’ll support this incredible local gem—I want them to thrive because their food is just that good! Support your locals, and eat local! ️❤️
