Upon walking in here the atmosphere was great. Clean, welcoming, and the Customer service is fantastic . They’re so polite and courteous. The chicken beats many places my SO and I have been to in the nashville area including some of the most ‘popular’ spots. It seems a lot of chicken joints have no issue with their breading/batter however the chicken is dry, or the spice mix is just too much and not enjoyable. This place however does it perfect. If youre on the fence, please please give this place a try. You won’t regret it.

Me and my boyfriend tried this place for the first time and we weren’t disappointed. I got the hot chicken tenders in medium heat, at first it seemed more like mild heat until I got to the second tender and the heat burst in full flavor. They have a full choice of sides and flavor for the chicken. The staff was friendly and well organized, also very helpful with any questions we had. The restaurant is clean with lots of different seating. Pleasant music to listen to while you wait for your order. Also the chicken came hot and fresh without to ling of a wait and for me thats a win, win. We will definitely go back, and I highly recommend this place to anyone.

This is hands down the most delicious chicken! Always fresh and the service is quick and friendly. The staff is always so sweet especially Carlos! He’s the best! I’ve had a lot of hot chicken but BJ’ s will always be my preferred hot chicken restaurant. The sauces are so good I ordered extra just to have that incredible flavor in my mouth, yum!

Ordered to go tonight this place is usually amazing. My fries were cold my chicken was lukewarm at best. It was very apparent that it had been precooked and sitting for bit. I called the restaurant back, no manager working at 6:15pm. They told me it was made fresh, which it was not. They did not offer to replace or try to make it right. I called the Goodlettsville location to speak with a manager, and no manager there either. The employee also told me it would be illegal for a manager in Goodlettsville to call a Hendersonville manager. It unfortunate because there are so many chicken restaurants in Hendersonville that BJ’s has gone down hill.

Wonderful hot chicken! I had the winglets and husband had 1/2 chicken. Collard green were top of the line good! All the food was served hot and wonderful. Great atmosphere. People were lining up while we sat there. We will be back

I wrote a shining review about a month ago and it was in good faith. However, my experience today was a let down. I was served what seemed like older chicken. Not rotten but very dried out, hard and it tasted like frozen chicken strips. Or like it had been sitting out a while or from the previous day. BIG Bummer.
It hurts to have to write this because this is the first time this has happened out of several visits I’ve had at this place.
BJ’s, I hope this isn’t something you do consistently. It would be a shame. I hope it doesn’t happen again or I will not return and I eat here at least twice a month.

Real OG
Visited several times in the last two weeks. Each time the place was clean and inviting. The chicken was consistently fresh and had good flavor. Have ordered the leg/ breast quarters and wings. Both were fresh, crispy and not overly greasy as you would expect. The bread they are served on isn’t covered in sauce/seasoning like you might be used to at other places. For sides we’ve tried the fries, potato salad, collard greens and mac n cheese. The mac n chz and fries were seasoned and had good taste. The other sides were bland in my opinion but they were served fresh. Now…for heat levels. The garlic parmesean was tasty for sure and had plenty of both flavors. I originally tired the mild and was surprised that it really didn’t have any heat. If you are used to heat I would start with the medium. The hot wasn’t miserable and all three (mild med hot) all had good flavor. The seating is tight in the small area. They have one long table with stools for larger groups but otherwise just 4 top tables. They have a soda machine with usual coke choices. Tea is available but it is instant tea. Restrooms were clean. My only recommendation would be that they should offer an a la carte option. Everything as pictured on menu come with sides. Since none of the sides are great, I would like to be able to get just chicken only. Would gjve this place another try for sure cause the food was fresh and the people were nice n friendly. Parking is a nightmare as only a few spots are available. More than likely will have to park behind the businesses.

It was just alright. I wouldn’t go out of my way to go there again. I had the tenders with fries. I would say the chicken was cooked perfectly. There was just something about the breading on them that wasn’t right. I got the medium heat level, and it was more of a low. The fries were average. The seating was crowded.
