Shout out to Mary, Aurora, Carter, Rachel, Brandon, and that one awesome guy with the beard and the ponytail who says “good morning” no matter what time it is. There’s more on the same shift, but sorry I can’t remember all your names! You all make my day every time I see you. In terms of friendliness and team camaraderie, this Fishers location probably has the best and most cohesive team. Awesome customer service, always eager to get to know the customers, they work quickly and accurately, and you always leave happier than when you went in. Other locations, take note! Corporate also needs to take note of the great things they’re doing here and approve more raises and bonuses at this location. God bless you all!

McAlister’s Deli is wonderful! They have delicious and healthy sandwiches, salads made with clean and fresh vegetables, the best spuds you’ll ever eat, and best of all, McAlister’s Famous Tea!!! The sandwiches and salads are at the same price point as that of Panera Bread, and it’s apparent that McAlister’s Deli is a competitor to Panera. But what sets McAllister’s Deli apart in the higher-end sandwich and salad industry is McAlister’s Famous Tea!
The tea is an experience. Make sure to fill your cup to the brim with ice, because McAlister’s Deli brews its tea strong and hot. The tea is a perfect combination of flavors, from the earthy bitterness from the premium black tea leaves, balanced by the zing of freshly squeezed lemon! To top it off, add a couple shots of real fruit puree! The best combination is the peach tea. Recommendation: Add two or three pumps of peach puree to a glass of unsweetened tea , and squeeze in two or three slices of lemon. The result is perfection! Like a hug in a glass, just the right amount of fruity sweetness, and an excellent source of vitamin C!
Other recommendations:
– Savannah chopped salad , with Sherry shallot dressing;
– Pecanberry salad , with Sherry shallot dressing;
– Colossal carrot cake ;
– Chocolate chip cookie (get these soft and delicious cookies at the Fishers location, and avoid the hard cookies at other locations);
– Spicy southwest chicken ➡️ ; and
– Spud max, but also add avocado, extra green onions, and extra butter! Perfect with a side of tomato and cucumber salad.

What I ordered from McAlister’s typically doesn’t change, I order choose two, with that Savannah chopped salad with a c̶u̶p̶ BOWL of soup. What I like about McAlister’s aside from the food is that I always have rewards available to use. This day I went ahead and ordered a kid’s meals because it was on the house, it came with a bag of chips. The salad dressings that I chose was Chipotle peach and Shelly Shallot which is the default dressing for this particular. We also ordered a grilled chicken sandwich, and the dressing was honey mustard, add it on a ton of additional free toppings. I’ll be honest I take a gallon of the broccoli and cheese soup and nothing else if I could. I’ll have this at least once a month.

First time visit. I was impressed with all of the choices. I got 1/2 turkey sandwich and cheese baked potato. It was fresh and delicious! Highly recommend McAllisters.

My wife likes this place. It wasn’t a good experience doing carryout for her. We couldn’t call ahead because they were too busy to answer the phone. “We’ve been really busy and we’re really short staffed.” It was a pretty long wait. They didn’t have the drink my wife swears that she just had a week ago. They serve you your to go order on a tray and give you a bag. I ordered a pickle and the cashier said to get it from the pickle barrel but there was no way to get one without stealing a non disposable plate. The person who served me my to go tray went and got me pickles in a cup and patted me on the shoulder with a “there you go. I got you three.”
If it were up to me I wouldn’t go here for carryout. There are more convenient places to get better quality food as a carryout order. Altogether it took more than 45 minutes to drive to this place that’s 5 miles away, order, wait on the food, ask for pickles, pack my wife’s lunch, and return home.
