This is our favorite place every time we come into town. The kindness, experience and food of course are the best. The warm croissant sandwiches with ham and mustard that come out buttery and fresh are unmatched. We love the owners and how they make you feel cared about and remembered. I pray who ever comes to visit buys a little of everything because everything is good and no bad choices are ever made. It feels like you are out of the country when you are here and I truly love the feeling. They have set the standard for our family and I must always get something every time I visit Charleston South Carolina. Until next time. Don’t forget to buy the hazelnut spread!

Outstanding experience.
Le Chambertin delivers true craftsmanship and authenticity. The almond croissant is exceptional perfectly flaky, beautifully balanced, and clearly made with care and precision.
Fabrice and his wife are remarkable hosts. Their passion, warmth, and attention to detail elevate the entire experience and make you feel genuinely welcomed. The service is gracious and effortless, and the atmosphere reflects the same level of refinement as the food.
A place driven by talent, heart, and consistency. Highly recommended.

This is hands down the BEST almond croissant we have tried! Sitting in Le Chambertin’s courtyard with coffee and pastry, you find a peaceful world inside the busy French Quarter.

I can only give 5 stars but they deserve 10. This French Bakery is just fantastic and, they are dog friendly. The owner loved my little pooch and he gave her several treats while we were in his shop. I had an almond croissant and it was really amazing. You should definitely give them a try.

This place made my Sunday. I can’t believe I hadn’t heard of it until now. It’s small and tucked away on church street. The woman helping me was so sweet and friendly, I sat at a little table in the sun eating my delicious quiche.

Flaky, delicious egg tarts and viennoiserie . Charming outside dining area. They were happy to see my dog, and he was even happier to see them after they gave him some treats and water

This is one of the best places in all of Charleston. Small, authentic French bakery. The owners are extremely nice and the pastries are out of this world. A must try for breakfast

Spent Christmas Day walking Charleston with my husband. Most stores were closed but this lovely aroma drew is to this shop. We chose a variety of items. I hope to visit Europe with my husband some day but was able to give him sample of the delights we would enjoy. He just asked if we can find it again and wants to make the 2 hour drive before we head home. I said I found it!

Stopped by just before they closed at 3 pm to get some almond pastries to eat in nearby Washington Square Park as an afternoon snack. They were excellent and made me want to go back another day for more. Tiny space and small selection, but can’t complain about the quality which was very good.
