I had a positive experience here, I was seated quickly and food came fast with friendly service. The pork sandwich I got was good. It was typical overpriced airport prices but compared to the other options in the airport it was decent value.

The food was great here especially being at an airport. We tried the table QR code but that sent our order to another table. After talking to a waitress, everything was sorted out and we got our food correctly.

The good : lots of space, service good.
The Bad: food is bland, fries are bland, burgers have not much taste. GF buns need work. The pay for water at table thing is tacky too, Honalulu already is too expensive!

I never expect airports to offer high quality food, but this wasn’t bad at all, especially considering how many vegetables they offered in some of their meals. I also liked their waitstaff and that you were able to either order with them for a full service experience, or through a QR code so you can order, pay and go at your leisure.
We ordered the teriyaki chicken rice bowl, which had lots of stir fried carrots, onions and green beans, along with some pickled radish. The chicken was juicy and there was a fair amount of it. We also had the furikake crusted ahi salad, which also featured the same vegetables along with a spring mix, and cherry tomatoes, though it needed more of them. The vegetables were surprisingly fresh, no wilted bits to be seen. However, the ahi tuna was very obviously prepared earlier and simply heated up because the middle was cold and the outside barely warm. It would have been great if they took a minute to flash sear it before serving again because the outside wasn’t crispy at all. You can honestly put the chicken on top of that salad and have a great combination since so many of the vegetables and salad dressing pair well together.
The lilikoi mango cheesecake was out of this world delicious! It punches you right in the mouth with tart and sweet and cream from the whipped cream all at once. I literally licked the plate at the end.

I was recommended to order the foot long hot dog. It was delicious and I was able to skip dinner and breakfast. I also ordered their version of the Mai Tai (the formula). It was strong and delicious also. Upon leaving i picked up chips at their grab and go. The staff are very kind and helpful.

Complete utter chaos in this restaurant. Terrible service no one knows what’s happening and the drinks are made by a bartender that shouldn’t be pouring water. This was the worst espresso martini I’ve ever tasted.
Typical HMS host junk at an airport!

Amazing restaurant for airport food. The waitress was incredibly helpful giving recommendations with the menu and her service was great. Got the Mahi Mahi bowl which was delicious, but also a side of fries which was incredibly overpriced. Great view of the mountains and good airport food!

After a long day of adventuring on Oahu on Sunday, January 11th, I just wanted to sit down and relax before my late flight…have a drink and a good meal. And be comfortable while doing so. Done! Cushy seating up against the wall, ahhh…I can relax. And I did. I then opted for the teriyaki chicken. Really good. Surprisingly good. Yum! Probably the best dish I had in all of Oahu over 6 days. Excellent flavor, ginger, teriyaki, delicious! Fresh veggies on top and more chicken than I expected for an airport portion. There were two teriyaki chicken breasts! I left full. And very happy. Service was excellent. Attentive when needed, professional and friendly. My waitress said I wasn’t the only person to comment that the teriyaki chicken dish was one of the best meals they had on Oahu. I don’t want to oversell it, it’s not Michelin Star, but it was extremely fresh, the flavors were surprising delicious, and it is a good value for the price. I would have this again and again over everything else in the terminal if I have the opportunity. I’d even make a point to have this again before I left the airport if I had just landed, it was that good. Thanks Makai Plantation! I hope to be fortunate enough to visit again!

Trying to get a meal before I jump on a 8 hour flight and chose California rolls thinking it would be fresh or at least presentable. The avocados in the rolls are clearly past traditional expiration date as they look mushy and overripe with dark brown color. I have come to the conclusion for $15.99 that its not worth the risk for human consumption before jumping on an 8 hour flight.
Establishment looks nice, staff seem abit annoyed with 0 hospitality and menu is over priced with no photos of the selection. I see why it has 3.5 stars. Lesson learned, will be skipping this restaurant next time I travel this way.
