The BEST Chinese food in Greensboro! When I lived here I would eat Chen’s at least once a week. Now that I’ve moved my husband and I will occasionally drive TWO hours just to eat here. The chicken wings, lo mein, fried rice, and egg rolls are amazing! Always hot, and fresh. 10/10.

The food was okay. We ordered tofu, plain rice, fried rice, lo mein, rangoons, fries, and egg rolls. The best part was probably the veggie lo mein. It was your typical tasting dish and really didn’t disappoint. The crab rangoons were also well made and there was plenty of sweet and sour sauce, which I love!
The sesame tofu was a little too sweet and the fried rice left a lot to be desired. No veggies, egg, or memorable flavor, unfortunately.
The only thing I’d order again would be lo mein and crab rangoons. I hate to leave critical reviews but I was very underimpressed.

Chen’s Express is service fast, quality of food is super fresh. Honey chicken is excellent, Lo Mein is good, excellent choices throughout. As always order ahead for takeout and enjoy!!

My experience was great. Great proportions, food was hot and delivery was quick. I had the wings with shrimp fried rice, pepper steak with house fried rice, and a large tea. Tea was way bigger than expected and sweet.

They are getting two stars for the amount of food we got for the money!!! I tried this place one time a long time ago and never went back because the chicken tasted like fish and I’m allergic to seafood. The lo mein was good, but I’ll be damned if that chicken didn’t taste like fish, and was in shapes that I can only imagine come from something they cut up behind the building.

This is the best sesame chicken and vegetable lo mein I’ve ever had. Both the vegetables and the chicken are very fresh, and the sesame chicken is made from chicken thighs. It tastes great and is tender and juicy. I will recommend this restaurant to my families and friends and I will order food here every week!

Excellent family owned and run business. Can’t find one thing to complain about. Their food tastes so good! The prices are quite reasonable, be sure to catch them during their lunch hour special from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

I got a standard pork lo mein. It’s got some extra grittiness in it. I recognize it as dirt from vegetables. Maybe I’m wrong but I’m pretty sure I know what dirty vegetables feels like

Walked in, there is a cardboard wall that looks like possible storage to the left of a dirty glass wall separating the cashier from the customer. There was also a dirty cardboard box on top of the drink cooler. “Great” first impression. The notification bell had static and the one person that was in there took a few minutes to come to the front to greet me. I was honestly not excited about my food, and if I had t already paid on Door Dash I would not have ordered. The cabbage in the eggroll didn’t look like it identified as cabbage and based off of the place itself I wasn’t confident if the chicken would be safe to eat. I ate what I could. Won’t be returning.

My General Tso’s chicken was made perfectly. Seriously the pieces of chicken were big & the sauce was properly spicy. Solid egg rolls, crab rangoon could use a little more salt, but otherwise, my go-to Chinese take out place in Greensboro.
