The bb.q in our name stands for Best of the Best Quality, and that’s exactly what you can expect from every one of our restaurants. Our Korean fried chicken is crispier, juicier, and more tender than anything you’ve tasted before, and our sauces provide an eclectic mix of flavor. Every dish is the result of both longstanding Korean tradition and modern research and development from our very own Chicken University. It’s a tremendous amount of work, but it’s all worth it when you take that first bite.

That’s why my most recent order was instantly concerning. The boxes felt noticeably lighter, and sure enough, things were off. Turns out they’ve changed their wings and reduced the wing size even after raising prices. I’m not sure if this change is specific to the Cambridge location, though I’ve noticed the Allston branch has had smaller wings for a while (at least they serve 10 wings instead of 8).
Unfortunately, this wasn’t just a cosmetic change. The wings weren’t as crispy or juicy as they used to be.
Hopefully, this is just a temporary shift. If not, I may have to stop ordering from this location.
Recommend the sweet spicy flavor that starts with a G
Dumplings were supringly not shit. They will not split large orders of chicken up by flavors. You need to spend more and get multiple smalls -_-
The reason it tasted really good because of the way the box it up. I think it is very very good idea to have a hole at the top so that steam wont stay trap inside the box and get it all soggy. Their chicken wings stay crunchy even when I am late for pick up for that reason.
The cheeseling fries are an excellent addition as a side as the crispy savory fries are topped with sweet cheese that can also be eaten with or without some ketchup.
Update:
Having explored more options this place is even better than I thought.
The soy garlic wings are a fantastic savory and surprisingly calorie friendly option. The macros if you track are great for protein vs kcals for the cheeseling (pictured), soy and honey garlic wings. I’ve also tried the rose tteokboki with cheese which while not macro friendly was a BLAST of flavor in your mouth paired with just the right amount of heat to get you questioning your life choices.
Lastly, the rice bowl with Caribbean spice chicken was fantastic and another one that is relatively also macro friendly!
I love this place for its food and flavor but also because they list their nutritional content which can be helpful for folks tracking calories for whatever reason be it cutting weight for a fighting bout or trying to gain/lose weight!
