My fiancé and I ate here tonight and I highly recommend. Our burgers were very good! Extremely good prices for the amount and quality of food and service you get. The decor is awesome to look at. We will be back for sure. Our waiter, Graham was amazing!

Waited on dinner longer than I’m used to. I think I heard our food was almost out 4 times before it came. Waiter was new, so it could have been that. Lobster roll was good but not really a lobster roll. Fries were dried out from either being frozen/baked or setting around. My wife was happy with her crab legs. Cool building. I will give it another try next time I’m in town because the menu is filled with things that sound great.

This place was recommended to us, and we enjoyed every bit of it! The server Graham was absolutely AMAZING and went above and beyond! We even asked for a picture because he made our experience that memorable (were from Canada). As was the bar tender who made us a round of impressive shots! The decor in the restaurant was so intriguing and fun to walk around and see. The food itself was delicious. After our visit we were left stuffed – absolutely no complaints what so ever! Hope to be back again.

While our server was very nice young man the service was kind of slow. Our three steaks were ordered -2 medium well and one medium rare. All three came out well done. The food was good however was not brought out as we ordered.

I, as many people waited for the restaurant to reopen under new ownership. We were hoping to see the two major problems resolved, food quality vs cost and ohh boy were we surprised. I sat down with a good friend and the first thing we both noticed was the ludicrous price increase from the original owners, I was stunned. We received our food and although the wait staff was wonderful, we could only think about leaving, we comically joked it would have been more enjoyable to go through Taco Bell for the cost. I’ve always loved the place but was hesitant for the prices vs the food quality but portion always seemed decent at least. I can completely confirm that the quality hasn’t changed, the cost has gone up, and the portion has been reduced…I will make every effort to never return to this restaurant and nor will my family or friends. I am flabbergasted honestly, It rather hurt to see, after I was hoping so much to see such a wonderful place go from poor to utterly worthless.

We had to wait over 5 minutes for a table even though there was hardly anyone there. We didn’t get our bread at all through our dinner. My husband’s steak was very well done, almost beef jerky, even though he ordered it medium rare. Mine was ordered medium well and it was also the consistency of beef jerky. Our friend ordered a burger that was so overdone and dry he couldn’t eat it. The glazed carrots were hard as if they hadn’t been cooked at all. For the price this place was awful.

I have been here a few times and the food has been good each time. Good but not great. The steaks and burgers are a little above standard, but nothing really stands out about them. If you want a good steak in an interesting atomsphere give it a try.
The service is decent. Servers are friendly but a bit on the slow side so go easy on your drinks, they may need to last a while.
Also the parking situation is awful.
I do like to eat here and will so again.

This place was recently remodeled. New owner, New Menu, New look. I had their Spicy Crab Dip, which had zero spice. It didn’t even have a mild pepper kick. It was good, but I was hoping it had some actual spice!
I also had their Cesar Salad, which I have to said made up for the lack of Spicy in the Crab Dip! The bowls for their Salad’s are so cute!
Their new menu has a lot of options that you cant’ really find at other restaurants in Alpena, so it’s nice to have some new options.
I would consider this to be a finer dinning place. For two people to eat here, you are looking at around $50 – $75 or more, depending on what you get, and if you buy alcoholic beverages with your meal.
The atmosphere is very nice. Sadly, they do not have AC, so in the summer it can get quite stuffy inside.
I would recommend giving this place a try! Even if you only go there for a special occasion. It’s a nice option!
