The food was hot, very tasty, clean atmosphere, very fast service. Plenty of room for more customers. He wasn’t crowded. But workers are not very friendly.

The food was delicious and tasted fresh. It was very hot when served, and service was good. You pick your meal and pay before seating. The dining area wasn’t too good of an atmosphere it looked more like a storage area. The place was stacked with boxes .

This is our favorite takeout spot in the area! The staff are always so kind and the food is fresh and delicious. I love getting the dinner or lunch combos- they are a great value and I can usually get at least 2 meals out of them. Highly recommend coming here if you want the best Chinese takeout in Durham!

It’s been a while since I had visit here but each time I came the customer service was always polite, food was done in a timely manner, and the place was always clean. Even tho I stay out of town I would drive 1 hour back here just to get the service and food.

Some of the best sesame chicken I’ve ever had from one of these kind of local Chinese restaurants. I’ve included a photo in my review however it doesn’t do the food justice I’m afraid. Their Crab Rangoon is also top notch and actually has bits of artificial crab in it instead of simply being a ball of fried cream cheese. The egg rolls earn their keep as well!

The lady behind the counter is friendly as well.

Decided to stop by this place for a meal. I had read various reviews on this location and they seemed all over the place. Not knowing what to expect I headed to Roxboro Road with an open mind and high expectations. Upon entering the restaurant, I noticed that there was a seating area, a fish tank, and a counter. What was missing was a wait staff and a hostess. There was a kind man who invited us to the counter to place our order. We ordered our food and sat down in the seating area with high hopes. The seats were a bit run down and the spacing of the tables seemed randomly assigned. The high chairs are metal and seem a bit “death trap like”. The atmosphere was slightly depressing and could use a serious makeover. The silent speakers above our heads suggested a failed attempt to brighten the atmosphere some time ago. We ordered General Taos chicken and Cantonese chicken both with fried rice and egg rolls. I added a side of egg drop soup with those crunchy noodles. The soup came out first and it was hot! Definitely hotter than I expected, but it is soup after all. After the temperature lowered I grabbed my plastic spoon and took a proper taste. It was amazing! So many restaurants get it wrong and somehow manage to make it too “eggy”, too salty, or too chemical tasting. This place got it right. After a brief wait the rest of the food was brought to the table. The portions were large with enough food for at least two additional people. The General Taos chicken was well cooked and properly seasoned with a slight spicy kick to it. I’d definitely order it again. The Chicken Cantonese was a fail. I won’t go into details, just trust me on this one. The egg rolls were good, but could’ve had less grease and more flavor. Overall it’s a not bad or an okay from me.

Before ordering a small egg drop soup and two spring rolls. I asked the cashier if the soup had flavor. She seemed offended and stated “No one has ever asked me that, Ofcourse it has flavor it’s soup!” She lied to me. The soup tastes like water and eggs no flavor at all. When I called to tell her she apologized. Why lie to me and sell me a bowl of water? Never again, I would not recommend.
