Bird’s Nest BBQ in Bel Air is easily one of the best BBQ spots around. The food is consistently delicious—smoky, flavorful, and clearly made with care. What really sets this place apart though is the customer service, especially Sam the manager. Sam goes above and beyond to make sure customers are taken care of, checks in personally, and creates a welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to come back. You can tell he genuinely cares about both the food and the people. If you’re looking for great BBQ with even better service, Bird’s Nest BBQ is the place to go.

Why haven’t you tried this yet???!!! If you had, you wouldn’t need to read this review, because you’d already know it’s amazing!!!! They even have a great garden salad. Seriously. It’s all amazing. Try the ribs, you’ll order them every week (that bourbon BBQ is ). The cheeseburger is my son’s new fave (he has good taste, his 2d fave is from Libs, but he says this is better). Get the slider trio, you’ll have enough food to last three days. Also, best Cole slaw EVER. Our favorite place in Bel Air, easily!!!!! ❤️ ❤️PS- not a paid review and we don’t know the owners… just honest customers. This place is a secret GEM!!!!!!

Wings are so gross. Their fried crust is soggy.

Used to be very good that would be cooked to order. Have been coming here for 12 years and I have never had a worse meal from them. Just ordered 4 sandwiches and the pit beef’s which were ordered MED RARE were both served Well Done. Also, chips were served as traditional salt instead of salt and vinegar. Mistakes happen, but after consistently giving this place more chances we once again have been disappointed. I am not sure if it is new management, but something has got to give. Please do not smear the once great Birds Nest if you do not intend to deliver the same quality. A medium rare pit beef’s seems simple enough. Thanks and please change for the good of the customers.

First time stopping in and they didn’t disappoint. I ordered the rueben and beef sandwich w/ coleslaw and mac&cheese to go. All of it was very tasty! I was surprised to see celery in the coleslaw. I’ve never had celery in coleslaw before, but it works.

Just ordered from them for delivery. Delivery said it would be 30-45 minutes, ended up being over an hour. We ordered two gyro’s and both of them had extremely little meat and what gyro meat they had were the strips of what looked like just frozen microwaved versions. We ordered a Pit Turkey Sandwich and specifically asked for Rye Bread. Guess what, no rye bread! And also not a lot of meat. Finally we asked for blue cheese for the wings, and we got no blue cheese.
Absolutely disgusting service for the price we paid. Last time we order from them. We’ll get Looneys or Das instead where we know we won’t get shafted

Stopped in and ordered a carry out on 9/2/205 for Lunch, a couple Pit Turkey Sandwiches w/French fries for my mother in law and I,
We were very excited try and compare from a couple other Pit Turkey Sandwiches which we have eaten from other local locations the past couple weeks
VERY DISAPPOINTED!.
The Turkey was very dry did not have much taste at all. I usually am fare but, as I was waiting at the table, ants or bugs were walking around on it.
Pretty dirty place from a couple years ago when the brewery was there.
Anyway, I will not be returning.

I’ve been coming to the birds nest as a special treat with my dad every once and a while my whole life, but this time was much different. I’m not sure if management changed, but standards have definitely fallen. I ordered the jalepeño chicken poppers and an old bay chip stick. The poppers were frozen (saw the bag) and low quality for a bbq place, and somehow the chip stick was gritty? And also not very crispy. My dad went to go get me a new one and the employees were very kind and understanding, but somehow the 2nd chip stick was less cooked than the 1st. Used to be a great place to go with cool tables that had games on them and great food, but not anymore. There is definitely potential for a great business but not with standards so low. Could be a candidate for kitchen nightmares if the show still ran.

We had them cater our sons graduation. From first meeting with Tom and Sam we knew that they were a great establishment. They were very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent everyone kept asking us who cater the party. I definitely recommend them if you need a catering service. Also the delivery person was so great in helping us setting the food up. We are going to have them cater our son’s eighteenth birthday. Thank you so much Birds Nest.
