I was visiting with family, we were feeling homesick, so went here. Very warm, friendly people and had a rich smell of broth throughout the place.
Most people (aka the rest of the fam) go with pho and that’s a good and respectable choice. I recommend the bun bo hue. All bowls were loaded with meat and the broth was rich, so they didn’t cheap out (quite the opposite).
My parents are Viet refugees who also used to be professional cooks, so getting their approval can be difficult sometimes. They approved of this place.
Definitely go and saved as a go-to if I ever revisit NOLA.

I loved the pho and the banh mi. The soup was hearty and full of meat. The spicy chilli sauce was truly delightful. The banh mi was not dry as it is at a lot of places. I loved the food and would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who wants to try Vietnamese food.

Went there on our way back from Jean Lafitte. Best beef stew with carrots I have ever had in the US. Other family members are happy with their food too. The service is also excellent. We will come again next time visiting NO.

It’s really good, and they give you large portions. Everythings fresh. The broth is sweeter, and I can taste the star anise much more than the other places that I’ve been.
I liked the crab rangoon dipping sauce. It had hints of chili and ginger and wasn’t too sweet. The crab rangoon were tasty but didn’t have as much filling as I’d like. Love the added bacon bits, tho.

Hands down the best Pho in the New Orleans area. The flavor of the broth, the texture of the noodles, the chili oil you can ask for is a perfect addition if you like some kick like I do. I eat pho 5-6 times a week because it’s easy on my stomach. I’ve had a plethora of what Nola offers pertaining to pho and this family business on the Westbank just gets it. This restaurant is 100% worth driving to even if you are a tourist traveling across the world to visit New Orleans.

The grilled beef spring rolls were good. The pho broth was good. The hu tieu broth was yummy, but it was supposed to be served with clear glass noodle. We were disappointed because it was served with rice noodle. We also waited a while before someone came to take our order. The appetizer came out after the entrees. Definitely would come back to try out their other dishes.

Great place to go to get a quick lunch. Lots of tables so you can just sit and there is no wait. Food comes out fairly quick. Food was good, although the pork slices we got in our rice dishes and even in the bahn mi were very fatty and you can see lots of oil seeping out. But overall , had a good experience. Service was very good. I will have to come back and get their pho.

The Pho was outstanding!!! The customer service was and the people were great as well. The staff was very courteous and attentive. The pho came out extremely fast. It actually came out before my appetizer which was no problem. The Pho was hot and very flavorful. The roll/wrap was good as well. Would recommend a visit.
