This is an Indian restaurant well located along the waterfront of the Ocho Rios pier which is a prime tourist destination. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating and a pleasant laid back vibe. The menu contains traditional Indian dishes including a large selection of vegetarian items. I had a vegetarian korma and aloo gobi. I also ordered a raita to complement my spicy meal. All of the food was fresh and tasty. The service staff was courteous and efficient. I highly recommend this restaurant to those who enjoy Indian/South Asian cuisine.

Stunning views! You can sit right by the water when you eat. The menu is huge, and everything we ordered was tasty – all came out piping hot as it was just freshly prepared. The food was also served in a timely manner and the portions were huge!! The butter chicken, goan shrimp, cheese and garlic and were my favorites but honestly it’s one of those places you can order anything and you’ll be satisfied! Chefs are clearly talented and there are apparently 2 – one for Indian dishes and another for Jamaican. We only ordered Indian this time and it’s the best Indian food I’ve had in a while – really exceed my expectations in all areas. Shoutout to Michaela who served us and was wonderful as well always checking to see if we’re ok or needed anything. One of the highlights for me in Ocho rios – if you’re in town and hungry, make sure to make a stop here!

we ordered 3 types of Biryanis all the Biryanis are worst no salt no spice only rose water/kewda water taste. veg sheek kebab is not all good not cooked properly. sweet corn soup was not cooked properly.
Paneer butter masala was just a tomotobpaste after an hour me and my family got stomach upset. seems like food was not freshly cooked.. 3 people are suffering for eating the food here. hotel management should over see the cooking quality once
it’s a mistake to eat food here.
70% food was wasted and wasted 103USD for bill payment

During our visit to the restaurant with our 4- and 5-year-old children, we were met with a server who had a noticeably bad attitude and seemed reluctant to serve us. After ordering appetizers, we waited for 20 minutes only to be informed that some of the items were out of stock. Frustrated by the poor service and lack of communication, we decided to leave without having any food. The absentee owner and management clearly do not prioritize customer service or the restaurant’s success.

While visiting Ocho Rios recently, I decided to try Passage to India, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of my trip!
The food was absolutely incredible. I had butter chicken, lamb vindaloo, and biryani, and every single dish was packed with authentic flavors. The naan bread was fresh and soft, perfect for scooping up the rich, flavorful curries. You can really tell the care and quality that goes into the cooking here. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting.

It was a lovely experience. The food was awesome. The drinks were top teir. The different flavors hit my taste buds in phases. The nan, was delicious. Not to mention the quietness in the night looking at the boats on the sea, the night view was good. I want to big up the waitress on Thursday night of this week, she was so nice.
It was a first time here and the experience was great.
I will definitely return.
Thank you for the experience Passage to India.

There is literally no parking, the food was ok, the staff was minimal but she tried to be accommodating. The menue is very diverse from a range of local, Indian and chinese cuisines. Only outside dining was allowed, we sat where there was a view overlooking a marine/ocean which was BEAUTIFUL!!! We also ordered a few cocktails which were not so good…

Had an amazing dining experience in Ocho Rios! Not only was the food incredible, but the views were absolutely breathtaking, overlooking the coastline. The butter chicken was rich and creamy, and the naan was soft and buttery—just perfect! We also loved the crispy samosas, which were packed with flavor, and the mango lassi was a refreshing finish to our meal. With its cozy ambiance, friendly staff, authentic flavors, and stunning Ocho Rios setting, this place is a must-visit! Highly recommend it!

We went for lunch, and got the table outside. The ambience was terrific, with a good view of the marina, and nice breeze. We walked around as we waited for the food. The service was slow but the personnel great.
We ordered vegetarian food, that was flavourful. The veggie sizzlers was too spicy and portion size very small for the $18.
The simple daal ($9) was the best in the entire North Americas. The naans were made nice, and the curries were awesome. The Jeera rice was simple and good. The mango Lassi only had a faint mango flavor. Jal jeera was not good. Navratana korma and Malai Kofta were tasty.
Would we go again? Definitely. The service is very slooooow. But we had asked the server and knew it was going to be late. Be prepared to spend 60 to 70 mins. Relax and enjoy. Parking is tough.

visited Passage to India while my cruise ship stopped in Ocho Rios, and I’m so glad I did! The food was absolutely incredible.
I tried a few dishes, and everything was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The butter chicken was so creamy and delicious, and the naan was fresh and soft—just perfect for scooping up the sauce. The lamb vindaloo had a great balance of spice, and the biryani was packed with flavor and tender meat.
The staff were super friendly and made me feel really welcome, which added to the whole experience. If you’re ever in Ocho Rios, especially if you’re on a cruise like I was, I’d definitely recommend stopping here. The food alone is worth it!
