Staffs are great. Customer friendly and attentive to details. Food was great. Store was super clean. Food arrives fresh and quick. Teriyaki is gloriously appetizing. Must try and yet recommended for all ages.

Excellent food while on travel for work.

Ordered the typical chicken teriyaki meal without rice….no challenge or debate. Gave all veggies and meat. Ordered another one to go was so good. Will eat later. Lol.

Atmosphere a 4 as typically cafeteria type environment but service and food a .!

One of my favourite locations in Regina. I come here often and the quality of food and meals are great. The staff is always so welcoming and friendly and especially when you enter the lady at the front cashier she’s always saying hi as soon as you enter Edo Japan, she always makes it easy for me to order. The food here is very tasty, I got chicken teriyaki with white rice and Root beer for the drink. Very Japanese style seating, the atmosphere inside here was very relaxing.

I went to edo Japan for the first time and it was near my work place so I went there at 9:30 pm as I see it was closing at 10:00 pm but when I give the order I get to know they are closing the dining I mean it was so rude they where doing it right in front of me. If this was the thing they should have told me earlier it was a great disappointment. I would never go there again. If they genuinely see this review they should take strict action regarding informing their customers about their policies of closing and let them update in google too.

I walked in and ordered an 8 piece California roll and a 4 piece dynamite roll. They pulled both from a fridge, not made to order. If I wanted bad sushi I’d make it at home. Cold hard rice, just old sushi not made fresh at all. Such a disappointment

I paid over $20 for a sumo sized Hawaiian Chicken and left hungry. The amount of chicken was shockingly small, a little bit of pineapple and a whole lot of rice and and sauce. I left feeling hungry and ripped off. I understand business expenses are high, but this was just sad. Absolutely will not eat here again.

I’ve been a regular customer of Edo Japan on Prince of Wales Drive for quite some time, but my recent visits have been very disappointing. The staff at this branch used to be a diverse mix of nationalities—Chinese, Filipino, Korean, even whites and others—and the food quality was consistently excellent. However, I’ve noticed that the staff has recently changed, and unfortunately, so has the quality of the food and service. The beef on the photo is so DRY…..

Today, I ordered the beef meal, and it was a letdown. The beef was dry and tough, the portion of rice was noticeably smaller than usual, and the overall taste and appearance of the food were far from the standard I’ve come to expect from Edo Japan.

Another major concern is hygiene. All food handlers and servers must observe proper personal hygiene, and this is non-negotiable. From the counter, I could smell an unpleasant odor, which was extremely off-putting and unacceptable in a food establishment.

I hope the management takes these concerns seriously and addresses both the quality of the food and hygiene practices to bring this branch back to its former standard. Until then, I’ll be reconsidering where I order from.

Fairly subpar experience. With others in the review, I agree, the hygiene of the cashier staff is not acceptable. Overall, I would go elsewhere if you want Japanese food. For another $20 try somewhere authentic and hygienic.

Edit Dec 2022:

Still nasty. I ordered dynamite sushi with salmon nigiri and got salmon sushi with smoked salmon nigiri. I hate smoked salmon, couldn’t eat anything. They also gave me spring rolls when I ordered shrimp tempura. The only item to-order was their cold gyoza

Also, the staff don’t heed allergy warnings and put snow peas in soup regardless of said warning.

Edit: still garbage. Harbor landing is better. This location very clearly waters down its soup. Honestly I’d sooner spend extra time going across town than eat there again. The difference is by a mile

Soup used to be phenomenal here. Amazing with soy sauce and Sriracha.

Now its broth tastes very watered down. Barely any flavor. Its like this for every edo location now.

Sushi barely holds together.

So sad that the only good meal now is their bento box
