We loved the pizza, and the owner was very nice. I wish I got a picture of our main pizza and pasta dish. Our favorite was the crust. It was like a thin crust, crunchy but not too crunchy. Highly recommend.

Pizza honestly was not very good. The Italian seasoning was very strong and honestly reminded me of cheap frozen pizza. The sauce had a tomato paste consistency and just changed the whole dynamic of the pizza. On a good note the pasta salad was great. And the service was wonderful. I am no way trying to dis the company I just wanted to leave an honest review.

The good: they have really made the inside of the restaurant look great. All of the sauces are homemade.
The bad: ordering is done at the register, no to-go menus, everything is served in Styrofoam containers except the pizza. Styrofoam cups, Styrofoam plates, plastic utensils. You get up to get drink refills.
The ugly: the sauces are too thick for salad dressing or dip. My friend ordered the lasagna special which comes with garlic knots for $8. The lasagna had a sweet sauce and the meat did not have a good flavor or texture it was more along the lines of potted meat, but they said it was ground beef.
My friend is a slow eater, but she finished her food before my pizza arrived. I built my own pizza, ordering an alfredo based pizza with chicken, black olives, and mushrooms. The mushrooms were fresh, the cheese had a pull, but it was hard to eat and hard to chew. There was no sauce between the crust and the cheese, which made for a very dry Pizza.
The owners daughter came by and told us her mom makes all the sauces fresh. Those sauces are too thick for a dip or to use as salad dressing (for my friends salad). They are more of a spread consistency. I tried putting garlic parmesan sauce between my crust and pizza to eat and it wasn’t good.
We were very disappointed, because we were looking forward to having a closer pizza place to enjoy when she comes for visits. I live about 20 minutes from Ashville.
Disappointed.

The owners are very nice , the food is good (lasagna is great). This place is very much needed in Ashville , I encourage everyone to go patronize Goodfellas Pizzeria right beside Piggly Wiggly and enjoy the clean chill atmosphere and very attentive service. The glass is tinted on the front of the place but they are open if the “open” sign is on .
We stopped in on Friday evening and had the lasagna dinner special ($8) hard to beat that price . It came with garlic knots and a small side salad. I want to make sure to say THEY HAVE OUTSTANDING RANCH SAUCE And also GET THE PEPPERONI CHIPS !

This new Pizzaria is fabulous. The menu has so many choices, it’s hard to pick. The pizza had a very nice crust and plenty of cheese with the fresh toppings. Fresh salad and spectacular cheese garlic knots!! Will be going back to Ashville soon.

Got a small pepperoni pizza, the cheese pull is a little unbelievable simply bc it keeps pulling- which is a good thing, they must be using reaaaaaally good mozzarella.
Will eat here again next time I’m in Asheville, give this little place a try.

The meatball sub is fantastic. The garlic knots were great. Portions are very large. All ingredients were fresh. Will definitely visit again.

It’s a Friday night at 5:50 p.m. and I’ve called this place 5 times to order a pizza and nobody will answer the phone. It’s kind of hard to order food or do business with a place that won’t even take your order. Very lazy and unprofessional.

Great food, Wonderful staff clean remodeled dining room, have eaten here several times some days may be a longer wait on food but most days had good timing, fresh made food isn’t fast food, just remember it’s a small locally owned business all restaurants have a bad day but doesn’t make it a bad place I would recommend anything on the menu
