What a local Gem!
My wife and I decided to have an Asian meal last night. We decided to give JAL Japanese Express a try.
Absolutely delicious !
Everything about our experience was exceptional
We placed a Phone order opting to pick up the meal ourselves rather than have it delivered.
Our in-store experience was fabulous. Enthusiastic, attentive staff with nice smiles on their face.
I requested extra sauces which were provided quickly and enthusiastically
Now let’s talk about our meal
All of our dishes were
– Hot
– Fresh
– Prepared with care
– Exceptional flavors
All of our Hibachi orders were fantastic as were our Fried Rice order

We came here for a late lunch! We were greeted warmly with a smile by the hostess/server. I didn’t get her name, but she was very attentive and friendly. We only got the Heart Attack appetizer, Yummy Yummy Roll, and chicken fried rice! All were yummy yummy! Definitely a hidden gem. 10/10 recommend!!! We will be back to try more things!

I absolutely love the food! The tuna sashimi and red snapper sashimi is amazing, flavorful. The steak Habashi meal is phenomenal. Volcano sushi roll was delicious. The environment is peaceful and the vibes in this establishment is good. I highly recommend this place!!!

We wanted to try a new sushi place, and I’m glad we chose JAL Japanese Express. We went on a Saturday early afternoon, it was pretty slow, but they have only been open a month. We started off with ordering the Monkey Ball and Miso Soup. Both were really good. We then ordered salmon and unagi nigiri. The unagi was amazing! For sushi, we ordered a California roll, Volcano roll, NRH roll, Dragon roll, and Yummy Yummy roll. Each roll was delicious. My personal favorite was the Volcano roll. The service was courteous and fast. We would definitely be back soon as we really enjoyed JAL Japanese Express!

JAL Japanese Express is absolutely amazing! The food is not only incredibly delicious but also beautifully presented, with a fancy touch that makes you want to dive right in. The restaurant is spotless and so well-organized, creating a great dining atmosphere.
The staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly, offering excellent service that makes you feel right at home. Chef Johnny and Linda are truly the best, so talented and kind!

UPDATE!!! The business has been sold my below review is for Maki Poke.
I drove 35 minutes from my house just to visit this restaurant and it was totally worth it. I’ve been on a poke hunt but there was no where good near where I live. They use super fresh fish unlike alot of other places and the portions are pretty big! The sauce they use I think is house made and definitely the best in the Dallas area. We also got a few other things on the menu and they were also all really delicious. I would drive another 35 minutes to come back just for poke. I am jealous of everyone that live so close!

Ordered pickup for lunch, they were fast, food was fresh, everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Most importantly the food was delicious. I got the Spider Roll and Monkey Ball. Will be back!
