One of the besttttt popcorn chicken options in the area! So juicy and the batter is always crispy. You really can’t go wrong. The perfect mid-day snack!

Milk Tea is standard and does the job. The grass jelly was surprisingly really good though. I’d recommend the Lunaria Milk Tea! (boba was hard though… so maybe pass on that)

The outdoor area is ideal to hangout and parking is sufficient. Many people study inside with plentiful tables and booths. However, it seemed really warm inside. I’d prefer the outdoor area!

Food is good and ambience is amazing! I love coming here to get work done while monching on popcorn chicken, house fries, and crispy tofu, sipping on a simple milk tea! Pricing is fair and snacks are tasty. Everyone comes here to get work done which creates a nice work environment. A special highlight for staff too! Jacob (based off the name on the receipt but the individual worked this weekend morning shift both days!) deserves a raise! He is v attentive, patient, and polite! Overall, a v enjoyable experience.

Go to late night boba spot. I got the winter melon milk tea with honey boba and crystal boba. The drink was good, but I did wish the winter melon flavor was a bit stronger assuming they use syrup. Boba was nice and chewy. Solid drink for it’s price. It was super busy with a lot of students studying, but def a good study/late night boba spot!

The staff here don’t know how to prepare the food properly. The fried items, chicken, and meatballs were all crumbly, with no real pieces of meat at all. This was a very disappointing experience for me here

When I came in there was the most wholesome little group of young athletes taking a quick post-practice tea and snack break. There was still plenty of seating and the turnaround time for my beverage was still surprisingly quick. I ordered at the kiosk just inside the door to the parking lot, which I love because I feel like it’s the best way to see all of your available options and also very introvert friendly. I ordered a melcha freeze with no creme brulee oat milk substitute and no sugar and it was great. I really like being able to personalize my drink to my specific tastes and dietary restrictions. And the freeze option was perfect on a hot day like today. And even though there was a small rush right when I arrived there was still plenty of nice air-conditioned indoor seating. I did order to go today but several people I could see were working or studying so it seems like a great place to do that. They had a variety of types of seating and those nice little plexiglass partitions. So while the atmosphere remains bright and open, you still have your little bubble to hang out in while you enjoy your bubble tea. They also had loads of cute outdoor seating. Excellent vibes.

Inconsistent.

Compared to the first time we came, we were disappointed in the service and quality of everything.

The workers were not welcoming nor kind at all. We were ready to order and standing at the register, but the workers didn’t say a word to greet us. We didn’t want to seem pushy or demanding so we waited for them to start off with something like, “How can I take your order” or “I can take your order whenever you’re ready”, but they didn’t. Both sides were just standing there waiting for the other person to say something first before my sister finally made the first move •_•

They were a lot more generous with the toppings the last time I came. Considering they charge $1 ($1.06 with tax), it’s not worth it since other places charge less and give you way more boba.

We won’t be be returning anytime soon.

Really enjoyed my visit to Summerfield Tea Bar. The drinks were refreshing without being overly sweet, and the flavors tasted clean and balanced. The staff was friendly, and everything came out pretty quickly even though it was busy. It’s a chill spot to grab a drink and hang out for a bit. I’d definitely come back to try more of their menu.

We’ve driven by this location for the past 6 years and it’s had so many name/owner change. Finally the reviews seem consistent and we decided to give it a try.

I think it does well because the hours are 1pm-1am. People like to come here to study and hang out. It’s not that big inside but it also has seating in the patio.

There’s a stage for live piano performance on Fridays and Saturdays from 9-11pm.

I got an Earl grey black milk tea called Moonlight. I usually decline boba but honey boba and grass jelly was included in the $6 drink and it was a tall 24oz cup.

Black tea will keep me up for sure and the honey boba was a mushy soft chewy texture. I didn’t adjust sweetness and it was perfect as well as ice.

My only complaint was that after I paid and walked out, I saw on the tv screen the ad for BOGO M-F from 1pm-5pm on milk and fresh tea where your second drink is $2. I would have appreciated if the staff told me. At least try to upsell! It is listed on the menu, but clearly, I overlooked that and I’m sure many others have too.

The parking lot is tiny and street parking is not close. It’s located at the corner of Lampson and Euclid. The street parking is around residential neighborhoods. Night time is a popular hang out spot for students.

Although there was nothing wrong with quality and taste of my drink, there are so many tea shops in OC that I wouldn’t come back. Especially when a parking spot is not guaranteed and the BOGO was not clearly advertised.

A+ tier boba shop in Garden Grove. The drinks are consistently great, and the popcorn chicken, fried tofu and fries are always great. Reliable service and the orders come out accurately. As of 2024, the drinks are about $6 and include a topping already and the munchies are $7.50, so not too bad.

Great place to study though there are seldom any prime study spot open inside, though plenty of outdoor seating
