Planet Sub is a truly fresh approach to the timeless classic Sub Sandwich. All of our subs are served on a Made From Scratch homemade bread, that is diligently prepared every day in house. All of our subs are oven baked unless otherwise specified. Our menu will capture the appetite of meat eaters and vegetarians alike. We also have soups, salads, and wraps. Gluten Free bread available upon request. Plenty of room in our dining room for a great experience, with 2 tv’s and classic tunes. Online ordering, rewards, take-out, delivery, and catering. Very cool spot downtown, when the construction ceases! The Philly cheesesteak Sub was great. Ordered for pickup near a weekday closing times. One of the only days I was able to make it in prior to closing.

I ordered The Experience on gluten free bread and it was fantastic! The bread was from Udi’s and was warm and soft! The staff was knowledgeable about gluten free options. Bonus points to Planet Sub for having the customizable Coke machine! I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant.

This was my first experience with Planet Sub. I ordered and paid online which was great. I did not like being forced set up an account before paying. Also, be careful if paying online; the box that asks if you want your card info saved is automatically checked. When I pulled up, there were so many people loitering on the side walk, I almost kept going. My food was ready when I arrived. The taste was just ok…nothing to write home about.

I did an online pick up and it was ready when I got there. I got the Buffalo Chicken add banana peppers and onions with some jalapeño chips. When I say that bread and chicken and sauce was sooo delicious!! I honestly didn’t know which sandwich to try 1st but I’ll definitely be back to try something else!!

This is a hidden gem of a sandwich shop in downtown St. Louis. I have been several times and their hot sandwiches never disappoint. The best way to describe them is that they are a little like a Quiznos sandwich, but they actually taste good. They give you lots of quality ingredients then toast it with gooey melted cheese. Yum. The people who work there are super nice and I will definitely be back again.

Fivesure recommend!! These sandwiches and wraps should come with a warning for those with addictive personalities! I was in town for a conference and ate here for lunch 4 out of 5 days. Had something new each time and was impressed until the last bite.

Strolling through the downtown and stumbled upon this sandwich shop. It may or may not be a chain, but it was great! They had lots of vegetarian options and the sandwiches were big enough to split for 2 meals. Dine in and take out options available. All indoor seating. Had chips and a drink with the sandwich and they even had warm cookies, haven’t had a snickerdoodle in years. Thanks for the great meal.

After 6 years of being away from this place I can say it still the best sandwich I ever had when I was in high school my sister told me about the experience sandwich last time I was here it was 2018 I just came back in 2024 for a congrats meal to myself and I be damn it still tastes the same tbh even better then I remember from freshness of the sandwich, cookie and drink I swear I missssed this so much I can’t take a pic of my sandwich and cookie because it’s already gone lol

My favorite sandwich place in downtown St. Louis. Whenever I’m down here, I try to time it so I can grab lunch here. Personal favorites are the chicken club and tuna bacon club. Food is served warm from the oven and it’s always clean. Friendly staff gets the food out quickly.
