TL;DR: this place slaps

Longer review: walked in first time today and ordered the grandma‘s pie. Waited for about 15 to 20 minutes. Place smelled amazing. You might have some New York purists out there but for the Sugar Hill/Cumming area this is as close to NY as you might get. Will definitely be coming back.

Incredible pizza and consistently excellent service. Our company places large orders monthly, and the pizza is always delicious and the orders are spot-on. The owner and staff are friendly, accommodating, and a pleasure to work with every time. Highly recommend for both personal and large group orders.

New York pizza only by name… it’s like calling yourself a New Yorker because you wear a Yankees cap.

This place is a joke/trash. Go to little ceasars pizza at least its fresh, service is better and at least you get what you pay for.

The service and the food is an example of a good thing gone wrong… it’s having the wrong people running the business. It’s clear dude working probably makes some bad ass tacos but pizza is definitely not their strength.

They have several locations, I use to take my family to Suwanee location long time ago when owners were onsite. Once they opened Cumming location, I WAS excited when both brothers were there. There had a great selection of pizzas you could order by the slice, some nice pinwheels, slices looked like they were made this that day.

If you wanted to order something custom they charged you for it but at least it was awesome.

I walked in today the Grandmas “pizza” was about 1/4″ thick PAPERTHIN dryed left over & the slices of pizza
Don’t even get me started… I have seen better leftover Tombstone frozen pizza found 4 days later in a dorm!!

I asked for pinwheels or fresh slice and it was like I was asking for his first born and let’s not play the I don’t understand english so well card.
To the brother i recall owning this location Go Clean House your boy cooking isnt cutting it…
How are they still in business???

Super fresh ingredients. Like, I can’t believe this wasn’t just freshly-picked kind of fresh. Made everything taste sooo much better. The garlic knots had -real garlic- (!) not just garlic powder. The marinara that came with them was strong and smokey.

The only drawback for me was the thickness of the dough. I ordered one of the rectangular pizzas (the medium was HUGE and weighed a metric ton) and it felt like it was a solid inch of dough, with a thin layer of topping. Maybe the regular pizzas are better. I’ll definitely be back to check.

Every employee was on a phone call. Spent $50 for a 14″ pizza, a Caesar Salad, and 2 waters. Food was quick, pizza was terrible. Sweet tomato sauce, no cheese, under cooked toppings, and a greasy mess. Good thing was they had every seasoning available to make it taste somewhat descent.

Great place! Pizzas are fantastic, the Fried Ravioli it amazing and it’s hard to find good fried ravioli. Going to order some of the pastas next!

I was looking forward to reviewing this place due to all the great reviews. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. I ordered a medium BBQ chicken and a large Grandma’s for $47. I thought it was high but thought the pizza would be over the top. The BBQ crust almost felt and tasted stale. It just didn’t have a freshness to it. Grandmas pizza totally lacked taste! It was bland until you get to taste the glob off tomato/garlic compote on top. I was TOTALLY underwhelmed. I would give it 2.5 stars if I could. 🙁 NOTE TO CASHIER: Don’t touch the pizza ingredients / cut the pizza without gloves just to turn back around to take credit card payments and such.

Tried this pizza for the first time tonight. Definitely coming back. The Caesar salad pizza is so good! However the bruschetta was flavorless and I didn’t like the bread with it either. Stick with pizza and you’ll be happy! Tiramisu was tasty too.
