Coconut curry chicken was a tad sweet, but might be personal preference.
They have quite a nice sized menu with a few unique items. Though I chose more basic things, I was quite impressed with the food. I had the Fried Chicken Bao’s and the Golden Fried Rice with Chicken. While that’s a little more unique, it was a little too much butter for my liking and was a tad oily.
The food is good; well presented and tasty. And whilst I found the service to be quite good and prompt overall, it lets a restaurant down when the staff come to the table with your order and just plonk it down in front of anyone at the table and don’t seem to care that they’re not giving it to the person that ordered.
With that said, I would try it here again. It’s reasonably priced and the food was good. Could get noisy on weekends, but during the week was the perfect time to come eat here for the first time.
We enjoyed the all the foods we ordered.
We particularly liked the egg omlete with seafood and the fried barramundi.
The dessert with jelly, jack fruit, durian pulp, peanuts&sago was nice end to our dinner.
Service was ok despite the place was full.
Parking can be challenging particularly during dinner times.
Will return to try other dishes.
This time my wife and invited a friend and his wife for a “Surprise Dinner” to celebrate the occasion of his Birthday. We wanted to take them to a restaurant that we could rely on to be REALLY GOOD. They were both delighted.
We had not booked a table, so we arrived relatively early. We requested to be seated in the “back area” and were courteously shown to our table.
Our “Birthday Guests” were pleasantly astonished at the huge extent of the menu items.
For Starters we chose…
Prawns & Chicken Spring Rolls
Steamed Prawn Dumplings
For Mains we chose…
Grilled Scotch Fillet with Egg & Fried Butter Rice
Chicken Breast Pho
Chilli Sauce Prawns & Jasmine Rice
Prawn & Calamari Classic Pancake
For Dessert we chose…
“Co-plue on Cose” – Creamy Coconut Ice Cream drizzled with Vietnamese brewed coffee, topped with shredded coconut & crushed peanuts!!!
Each dish was beautifully plated and included such wonderful combinations of Vietnamese flavours that perfectly blended together on our pallets. This was (yet again) a superb Vietnamese Dining experience. Our “Birthday Boy” was so appreciative and thankful of his “surprise” Birthday Dinner!!!
This time, after our meals I was motivated to go over to the kitchen and personal congratulate the Cheff (STEVE) and his talented Team for their exquisite Vietnamese Culinary Creations.
There are so many Vietnamese restaurants, but this establishment truly showcases the AMAZING combination of culinary delights that can be achieved via Vietnamese cuisine.
Highly recommended for an UPLIFTING Dining Experience.
We shall definitely return!!!
The staff were so friendly and helpful. Really wanna come back again. Parking was a bit hard as it is located on busy Koornang Rd.
