I had such a great dine-in experience at Pica Pollo. This small, family-owned spot truly delivers authentic, made-to-order food that tastes homemade in the best way. Everything we tried was fresh and flavorful — from the delicious chicken and cornbread to the perfectly cooked plantains, fish, shrimp, ceviche, and their natural juices made in house.
The restaurant itself is clean, cozy, and welcoming, with only about 4–5 tables, which makes it feel intimate and personal. What really stood out were the smiling, attentive faces — the service felt genuine and warm, like you’re being hosted rather than served.
If you’re looking for authentic food and a place with heart, this is definitely worth a visit. Support local gems like this — they’re special.

The shopkeepers were very welcoming and understanding, it was our first time being there. One of the chefs even came out and provided recommendations and answered our questions.
The crab empanada was good, though there was some shell pieces.
I ended up getting their roasted chicken special – I forgot the name but the chef said it was their mothers recipe. It was delicious and portions of that and the rice were plentiful.
Everything was great and I definitely plan on coming back.

Hands down, the chef is incredible. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and truly authentic Dominican cuisine. Every dish gives you a real taste of the Caribbean – the seafood is delicious, the chicken is perfectly seasoned, and you have to try the Quipe. The natural juices are amazing too. I honestly can’t stop eating at this location. And it’s not just the food – the service is warm, welcoming, and makes you feel right at home. A fantastic experience every single time

As soon as I walked in I heard the beautiful bachata music that you’ll hear in every sala in the DR. The lovely FAMILY that owns and runs this place clearly cares about each and every customer that enters. They made sure to welcome my friend and I but also welcome all others who entered with a smile.
THE FOOD
It was the best fried chicken I ever had. The seasoning was perfect and it was fried just right. The tostones were huge and were nice and crispy. I LOVED the crab empanada and I am very glad I ordered it. The jugo de guanabana (which is the first time I’ve ever seen something like that in a restraunt) was not overly sweet but was sweet and refreshing.
This place deserves more than five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This place is 1000% worth going out to try. If you want fried chicken come here because not only will you receive the best fried chicken you’ll ever have, but you’ll experience the culture of the DR ; the culture that embodies family, love, good food and music.

Just. Go. Seriously. Fantastic food. Friendly people. Very small area to eat inside, so order out. My wife was thrilled with her crab empanada. My son was dancing around the kitchen with the chicken and fries. Can’t wait to try more.

Pica Pollo Dos never disappoints! Their crab empanadas are absolutely delicious and made with real crab, which is such a rare find these days. The freshness and flavor really stand out. On top of that, their prices are fantastic, offering great value for the quality they deliver.
We always order the red snapper, and it’s simply amazing every time. Perfectly cooked, flavorful, and served with sides that complement the dish perfectly. The attention to detail and presentation, as seen in the photos, speaks volumes about their dedication to quality. Highly recommend this spot for authentic and satisfying meals!

The food was seasoned properly, cooked properly, and my favorite out of the meal was the coconut flan. The crab empanadas had real crab meat, no imitation crab meat like some places try to use. Very authentic place.

I was excited about having Dominican food since I last had it in NYC in a few years but there’s nooo way this is authentic Dominican food. It looked and tastes horrible, no seasoning, the chicken looked like it was old and very raw. I never seen food look like this and I paid over $70 and wasn’t given the complete order.

By far the BEST fried chicken in Cleveland!!! Nobody comes even close; I absolutely promise if you give them a try you will thank me later. Seriously, outstanding chicken, tostones, coleslaw, etc.
Coconut flan is delicious as well. Followed them from their old location, and the new location is just as good if not better!!
10/10!
